Running a game in windowed mode and using SRWE to resize your window to a much larger resolution for screenshots.
This allows you to play at any resolution you're comfortable with (for example, 1920x1080). Then when you're ready to take a screenshot, you swap to a much higher resolution with the same aspect ratio (like 5120x2880). In that case, the window will be so large that it won't fit on your screen, but a screenshot will still capture the whole frame. After capturing a shot, you can resize the window back down and resume playing.
Then you can downsample the images for aliasing-free screenshots.
Here's a crappy one I took of GTAV downsampled from ~24 megapixels.

I always get those speeds from abload, and those suckers aren't caching either for some reason.I don't know if it's just me or a temporary thing, but the shots hosted on flickr are giving me loading speeds that are practically dialup.
You've definitely an eye for interesting shots.
Thanks dude!
I have more!

Thanks!Those look great!
I really hated the colors in the vanilla game, especially in the first area, but these actually look quite nice.

It's a hit & miss, taking screenshots with this game. You think "This is a nice shot!" and before your finger hits F12, some marker is entering the view or a message is displayed which isn't hidden although everything in the hud should be hidden.. But sometimes one gets lucky
(edit) Saw your mordor shots, they look awesome! The reshade definitely helps make the game look more grim.

Really like that preset of Shadow of Mordor. It's more realistic according the Mordor of Tolkien.
And good shots guys
Thanks!WOW!
That's fantastic![]()
Likely due to fog blended onto the mountains under low lighting, lots of games have this, you can't do much about that I think.Something weird going on in the background in this one with those transparent mountains. It's in the vanilla shot too.

Does reshade come with some dithering shader? I'd use that to get rid of the banding. What to do about the banding asks this angry orc..
