I'm not a Flickr user but wouldn't that mean he'd have to save them locally and then re-upload them to Flickr? If he wanted to save them he could have just stopped at the first step.
Yeah, it's kind of shitty uploading them and not making them private or giving credits. Personally I wouldn't feel mad to see one of my screenshots there. I think I would just say "what" out loud, and feel a bit flattered, haha! But I would be mad if they were my real life photographs (that actually happened to meExactly. Nothing wrong with using a "cloud", however. But then he/she should have made them private or give credits. So, re-uploading them for preserving is principally not wrong. It's just how you manage the access, publishing, visibility and credits of course. And as for the latter I think we all agree that people, with this class of screenshots, put effort into it and deserve credit.
Is it weird that I'm disappointed I didn't get to see which shots he thought were worth copying?
HOLY FUCK that looks awesome. Sounds right up my alley ~~Inner Chains is seriously one of the best-looking games I've ever seen.

...Oh.Don't let the graphics fool you, though. The gameplay is atrocious.
Wow, this game looks so realistic...to a point that it already looks boring and generic.
It looks fantastic to me.Wow, this game looks so realistic...to a point that it already looks boring and generic.

I guess real life is boring and generic to you as well then, no?!
Hah, I thought it looked absurdly impressive but I see what you mean.
Overall I prefer the "hyperrealistic" look of, say, Horizon: Zero Dawn where they aim not exactly for pure realism in terms of natural environments, but for an idealized version of realism (think nature documentary shots where they just want to show eye candy at all times).
Too bad they used the PS2 version for the PC port and not the PS3/Xbox 360 version that offer better shaders, shadows and textures. At least you can play this game with the best image quality possible and not the locked 30fps. A shame, nevertheless, not getting the most definitive edition without compromises (same with Tomb Raider 2013).

No, but it's maybe not something everyone expects from a video game that is, for many, supposed to drag you from real life. When I compare it, artistically, to let's say Darksiders 2 or Mass Effect with its alien worlds, it doesn't hold a candle. So he/she does have a point with their statement.I guess real life is boring and generic to you as well then, no?!
It's mostly the setting that's rather boring. HZD has very interesting environments full of robot dinosaurs. Even The Witcher 3 has some nice variety in the locations and is full of gloomy atmosphere to spice things up. Kingdom Come is just hilly fields and forests.
I think The Witcher 3 would look a lot better in the same engine as Kingdom Come. Probably.
Well, the Kingdom Come devs are aiming for a historically accurate and realistic game, which would include highly realistic looking environments.
I know. My point is that it's not the graphics that make the game look boring. It's the setting combined with a realistic art style.
Of course I still love games with more outlandish settings and artstyles, I just think there's a place for both.

On an unrelated note, here's two NFS screenshots. Sorry for the banding, I only just noticed.
