Yeah it's a pain in the ass but you can try something like HDR Image Viewer for .jxr files and convert them. Look into the OT there is a few useful informationKyoZz man so what we ultimate graphics wh0res 4090 owners with HDR monitors, playing in HDR can do to contribute this thread? all my screenshots now are in .jxr , and connot be converted to SDR and look washed out in sdr space
Also, if you take your screenshots with Steam and then upload them, it will automatically convert them. For example I'm playing Stalker 2 with HDR and my Steam gallery is not washed out:

You can add most games in Steam so you have the overlay, the only downside is you have a (small) loss in quality.

It's how LG software (used to?) deal with bright, saturated colors. In game tonemapper clips to preserve brightness and which results in color shift. As Boris noted, the game was made with SDR in mind, so the artist didn't look at an untonemapped image. In HDR tonemapping is disabled and TV does...

Seeing Black Mesa on here made me want to go back and play it. Unfortunately, now it launches and immediately crashes. I'm assuming I need to download c++ files. Anyone encounter any problem like that?
