Uh oh. :O

According to the previews, the meltdown occurs
Tonight, like every night, is gonna be really, really good. :D

Like always, please keep previews and predictions in spoiler tags.

Now what's the rule? Once the show is on we can talk about it openly but if we go to talk about anything we know is going to happen in future eps we need to spoiler those?

I can't imagine there actually being a meltdown, that would most likely start a world war in real life. But if so, I can't wait to watch the fireworks. :D

Michelle should be showing up any episode now. Can't wait to see how Tony reacts.

Also, I just thought of something....Season 3 tied in with Season 1 (bad guy worked with Jack on the Serbian crime family case that caused Season 1). Maybe this Season will tie in with Season 2--i.e., we'll finally find out who was behind the warning given to President Palmer (virus that nearly killed him at the end of Season 2), and who had hired Nina and was sleeping with her (see Season 2 DVD deleted scenes). I also have a feeling that this time, there is not going to be leverage to use against the bad guy to stop them--i.e., no convenient daughter to use against Saunders. I think that Behrooz (sp?) will end up playing a major part in stopping the conspiracy--the only way that the conspirators will be found and stopped is due to betrayal from within.

Well Shadax....

A meltdown, if it happened as it is on the show, in real life wouldn't start a war... who would the war be with? hmmm thinking about 9/11 hmmmm could be a good excuse to fingerpoint at another country.... and as for real life meltdowns? As in are you saying you can't imagine a nuclear plant ever melting down? Well there was this place called Chernobyl....

Um, last I checked in season 2 the virus Palmer got was orchestrated by Saunders. I distinctly remember him being on a boat talking on the cell phone tell that chick to deliver that virus to Palmer.

Yeah. Anything that has aired (EST) is open to discussion; predictions (like predicting who's gonna save Jack and Audrey, like what happened two episodes ago) and those short previews that they run after the episodes go in spoiler tags.

Well, I don't think uninformed/speculative predictions should be spoiler tagged, only information you know to be a spoiler :P

Well yeah, but if the predictions ARE right, it's basically an unintentional spoiler. :)

Chernobyl wasn't caused by terrorism, it was an accident. A terrorist attack like that today in the US would easily be the impetus for a war, maybe even world war depending on the chain of events following the attack.

Couldn't be....in the deleted scenes of Season 2, it showed Nina coming up and kissing the guy on the boat. Which means she would be sleeping with him, and in Season 3 she had no more leads to give Jack--had that been Saunders she was with at the end of Season 2, she could have used that as a last resort to save herself from Jack. Of course, maybe they re-wrote all that to snuff Nina and close that storyline....I'd have to see the end of Season 2 again to be sure. If so, then major props to them for keeping continuity.

Which is why the scenes are deleted .... i'm pretty sure that was Saunders on the boat.

How do you know it was an accident? ;) Anyway a terrorist attack not sponsored by a country could not be a prelude to war... or at least it shouldn't be... because there is no "base of operations" to go to war against.

Umm, Iraq? :P

I've seen screencaps of the Season Two DVDs...that is NOT Saunders on the boat at the end of Season 2. Trust me.

No, the guy on the boat was Max. 24 fans are still waiting for his return! (dammit 24 writers, bring this German badguy back!)

I was driving home and on the radio I heard a commercial for tonight's episode that had a MAJOR SPOILER!!!

Jack catches the Araz mom tonight! During the commerical he tells her "Those people are innocent." and she replies "No one is innocent!".

I hear the fallout from the meltdown brings Nina back to life so she can avnge her own death.

And thus, even 24 would jump the shark.

However, I think the moment when 24 jumps the shark will be on a later season where Jack chases a terrorist to Sea World and literally jumps over a shark just like the Fonz.

fuck. did anyone grab that number. it took a few seconds to register that I should write it down

i think it was 818-xxx-0165?

Its a shame they won't go out there and get Edgar's mom. Yeah, they're worried about saving the lives of the most people possible. Well, excuse me, but wasn't it EDGAR who saved hundreds of thousands more with his l33t hacking skills? The least the could do is get his mother. :P

Not only did he save hundreds of thousand of lives, he discovered the 'real' mole at CTU. The bitches. Oh well. Man, shit is starting to get real intense with the Araz family. FUCKING COMMERCIALS! :lol

Did anyone else notice some real abrupt ending of scenes? I dunno, it seemed like everytime it went to commercial, it felt... sudden! Not just talking about the end.

And on a side note, why the hell are they calling 'House' a hit, considering they've only shown one episode so far?

I'm pretty sure they've shown more than one episode of House. Though I wouldn't be surprised, concidering they did the same for Point Pleasant. Regardless, I actually kind of like House.

DAMN, Jack is even MORE bad ass!
I can't wait. The preview was fucking awesome.

Not spoiler tagging that because I assume we all know that 24 is always awesome :)

edit: I think they've shown atleast 5 episodes of House

Uh, House has been on since January, dude. Maybe earlier.

... It's pretty good too, if a tad bit too formulaic.
