Yeah, with the exception of Driscoll's departure, this was a very slow episode. Oh well, at least Michelle's finally back -- time for a throwdown!

That whole preview spoiler shit is just plain dumb. The previews get aired a million times a day on all sorts of channels. Do you change the channel or look away whenever one comes on? They're always hacked up to give a different impression anyway. I don't know if previews are spoiler territory. They weren't in the past IIRC. PEACE.
*sigh*

Running around in circles will get us nowhere. Yes, we know you don't like having to type the extra nine characters at the beginning of a sentence or the ten characters at the end, but we appreciate it. I definitely recall spoiler-tagging previews during S3 and maybe even S2, it's what got me to stop watching them in the first place.

Thanks.

Oh, and case in point, this week's episode: I watched the preview and found myself bored, thinking "just appoint Tony and get to the exploding EMP already." And wouldn't you know, the EMP exploded near the very end of the episode, leaving me with a whole three or four minutes of "Gee whiz, what's gonna happen!" instead of the usual fifty.

Heller as President would kick ass. Anyone but the current guy they have in office.

Anyone except...

I was thinking more along the lines of
President Heller if the Vice Pres is there too
.

This was explained about 6 episodes back. Tony got pardoned but lost his job, became a drunk, pushed Michelle away and lost her. Now he's back in form and Michelle is gonna get weak in the knees within the next 12 hours. I GUARENTEE IT!

Hm, is
Heller
the next in line? Aren't there a few others in line before that point?

But you make a good point. That's probably what will happen.

On a side note, anyone see the commercial for that Pam Anderson show? The commercial goes "It's stars Pamela Anderson and it's called Stacked... because it takes place in a bookstore...what were you thinking?"

MY question is, would there be anyone in the world who's first thought would be "It's about books!"
Rupert Giles would have. :)

Man this season keeps on kicking ass, this eppisode was at a slower pace than the last, but was still great.

I gotta admit though, I at first kinda laughed to my slef that this office building just HAPPEND to have the old standerd issue EMP in the basement, but than they said how they had been developing non lethal weapons for the millitary, so it became plausable.

Can't wait to see the situatuation unfold between Tony and Michelle, come on Tony, you can get her back!!

I wonder though, will this mean Discroll's off the show for good now? I am just trying to think of an incident in the first 3 seasons where a main cherecter has left the show ½ way through... I am not completaly sure she's gone for good... And damnit, why dont they just add Carlos and Reiko on the main cast already.

I hope so. That depressed daughter subplot was the most obvious time waster throwaway storyline since the "baby in the office" deal last season. Didn't like much about Driscoll.

By the way, whatever happened to Chloe this season? She was in two or three episodes and then got canned right quick. :lol

No a few more people in front, the order before
Heller
is:

# The Vice President
# Speaker of the House
# President pro tempore of the Senate
# Secretary of State
# Secretary of the Treasury
# Secretary of Defense

Maybe they are all on Air Force One?

It's not that. It's people bitching at us when we DO use the spoiler tags for including something in spoilers that they deem to be too much of a spoiler. THAT'S what's so fucking annoying.

This episode was not in any way slow. For what is the REAL transition episode, it was actually pretty damn good. While there was little "action" there was plenty of intrigue, especially concerning what exactly is going on at MF.

I've been calling Michelle's return since...well, since I read the casting spoiler. However, HOW she'd be coming back was clear the second Driscoll's daughter committed suicide. And when they kept mentioning "Division" throughout the episode. I knew that her new job at Division would make for an easy entrance into the storyline, and this is just perfect.

Someone pointed out that Edgar was given much less grieving time...but he also seemed less hysterical and it was during a time of crisis where nobody could replace him. Driscoll is a bit of a different situation, plus the entire daughter subplot was done entirely to get rid of her. Edgar's mother was there to put a human face on the Nuclear Meltdown, so its purpose was served and I really don't mind if we move on, personally. 24 does that; for instance, the huge ass prison riot in Season 3 was all but forgotten after it happened. It's normal procedure.

Looking forward to seeing where this goes from here, whether it be at the Air Force Base or not. If MF sold weapons to terrorists, what weapons? Where are they planning on using them? What the hell is going on here? There are plenty of options of where to go with this, and I hope the one they choose will end up as entertaining as the first half of the season.

I can understand that, it's impossible to differentiate if a line of black text is in regards to next week, idle speculation or a spoiler from the last episode. Of course, I just avoid reading the spoiler tags in general..

Quick question: Shouldn't the EMP bomb have fritzed the flashlight Jack had too?

Same here:

Since the emp fires a electromagnetic pulse, that runs into anything THAT works on electricity, the emp should have fried that flashlight.

Did you read it? Despite being labelled a MAJOR casting spoiler? And you blame him?

I have known of the casting spoilers for quite some time...by the time they come around you usually forget about them entirely, and the show is good enough that even when you see them coming they rock.

Actually, when Jack was holed up at Tony's place, he explained to Audrey that Michelle had moved up ranks of Division and would be sure to become the CTU director at some point.

This is the only TV show I watch, and every episode this season has been well worth the week-long wait!!

Okay, just some random thoughts:

- I have a feeling that the current President is involved in some way with this whole ordeal. I haven't figured out how just yet, though.

- Audrey's bitch ass is gonna go back to her husband, leaving Jack the chump for rescuing her.

- Michelle will give Tony a hard time. I don't see them getting back together.

- Curtis kicks major ass again. I like him.

- Paul, Audrey's husband, has something to do with the day's events, and while he's certainly not involved with the kidnapping, I do think that he does have something he's hiding.

- Jack vs. The Mummy = he's gonna make Brendan Fraiser look like a chump.

:lol I must resist the urge to read that casting spoiler. :)

Anyways, I just re-watched the episode. Quick question regarding Habid (or however you spell his name): When he was talking to that guy that came in the car in the alley, are they planning another operation using the "Air Force" base? 0_o

Hence why the constant "Division" talk had me convinced. I knew from that point that Michelle would eventually return as someone from Division, it was what actual event would be the catalyst that I wondered about.
