That was the only question I had coming into this thread... good price but I am not buying 4:3 ever again

I just got a Phillips 34" Widescreen HDTV for $900 at Costco. For DVDs with component cables the picture is great, but normal TV actually is smaller than a 27" 4:3 TV, and a bit pixelated.
