SCOTT DEPOT An 18-year-old Winfield man was found dead Friday afternoon inside a Putnam County house owned by Powerball jackpot winner Jack Whittaker.
The body of Jesse Joe Tribble was found about noon, but police would not say who made the discovery.
No one was with Tribble when he died, said Putnam County Chief Deputy John Dailey. Someone discovered Tribble and called Putnam Countys 911 center.

Investigators spent Friday afternoon inside the house while a Putnam County sheriffs deputy kept media and onlookers away from the Wildrose Lane address. Sheriffs department crime-scene tape formed a barrier around the house and property.
Dailey said investigators will continue to investigate Tribbles death. As of Friday afternoon, Dailey said Tribbles was an unattended death under unusual circumstances.
The guy doesnt live there, Dailey said, explaining the unusual circumstances.
Two people were taken away from the house in a police cruiser a couple hours after the discovery, but Dailey would not identify them.
Someone sitting in the front seat made an obscene gesture toward media gathered at the end of the road leading into the Rose Hill Acres subdivision.
Sgt. Lisa Arthur of the Putnam sheriffs department told The Associated Press that Tribble was a friend of Whittakers teenage granddaughter, Brandi.
Whittaker was not home Friday but was notified of the death. Dailey said he did not talk with Whittaker and did not know his reaction to the news.
Tribble was allowed to be inside the house but it was not clear how long he had been there or who allowed him inside.
We dont believe its a homicide, Dailey said. Right now, this is just an unattended death.
He said nothing was stolen and there was no appearance of a criminal act to get inside the house.

Since Tribble turned 18 in November, he has been charged twice in Putnam County Magistrate Court. He paid a fine to settle a misdemeanor driving charge, and a felony drug charge against him was dismissed, according to court records.
Whittaker won a record $314 million Powerball lottery jackpot on Christmas 2002 and collected more than $100 million, after taxes. Since his win, he has donated millions to churches and charities but also has been the victim of several robberies and has been named in lawsuits. He also faces criminal charges in Kanawha County for alleged drunken driving and in Putnam County for allegedly threatening a manager at a bar near St. Albans.
