It's really annoying that no one in the gaming media has managed a solid interview from someone at the Studio. Do your damn jobs "journalists"

So apparently there is a version of this game in the 343 test labs that actually fucking works all the way. Must be nice.

At least they're working on it. Not much else you can ask at this point. Something something entitlement
over the coming weeks.
Troll post?

so are any sites adjusting their review scores or just continuing to base their reviews on nostalgic memories they have of playing mp on the original xbox and xbox 360 versions?
Plus anyone in the US probably has Thursday and possibly Friday off, they're not getting jack shit done this week I'm sure. Hope they can fix this all before Christmas
I'm pretty much done buying games day 1. I don't need a review to tell me everything about a game. But I'm going to wait a couple days to make sure the game isn't broken.

With the initial release of Halo: The Master Chief Collection, however, we have not delivered the experience you deserve. I personally apologize for this on behalf of us all at 343 Industries.
Please accept my heartfelt apologies for the delay and for the negative aspects of your experience to date. We’re doing everything in our power to resolve it as quickly as possible.
On Nov 11th we released Halo: The Master Chief Collection. The goal being to create a tribute to Halo fans around the world, and to celebrate the Master Chief’s debut on Xbox One.
On the matchmaking front, we have encountered unexpected issues that were not apparent in our internal test environment. Within 343 Industries and Xbox, I can assure you that resolving these issues is our #1 priority. We continue to partner with the Xbox platform team to analyze all data to make ongoing server-side adjustments to continually improve the matchmaking experience. We are planning multiple server-side tweaks and game content updates over the coming weeks.
They can't find out how to get to settings, let's not get ahead of ourselves. They're probably still wondering how to put the disc into the console. It's really annoying that no one in the gaming media has managed a solid interview from someone at the Studio. Do your damn jobs "journalists"
Why would they? Can't go and bite the hand that feeds them. I mean shit IGN gave the damn game a 9.0 even after waiting till after launch to play it. As broken as this piece of shit is it doesn't deserve anywhere near a 9.0.
I know maybe they should have released that copy instead of one that resembles something that didn't even make it to certification.

It's kinda weird how many high profile games have launched with serious issues in the past couple months.
So what's more broken online, this or Driveclub?
If they were actually sorry they would halt sales of this game until they finish developing it. Instead, they're pissing off more people and ruining this franchise. It's really a sad state of affairs.
So is the online population.Well. Look on the bright side.
The price is surely going to plummet now and it will feature heavily in games with gold deals next year.
By the time it is fixed you probably will be able to pick it up for 30-40 bucks.

MCC apologist?
I know, they CAN'T promise that. They just can't. I stake my life this game never works for me online even close to 100%. It's like Murphy's Law governs my videogame life. The first patch has actually allowed a few of my relatives/friends to play a match here or there where they couldn't before (like me)
Me? Nothing.
FUCKING fuck.
We fucked up. Please pre-order Halo 5.

Halo DriveClub Collection
These comparisons were silly a couple of days after launch.
Now it's just sad that two weeks in I was playing Driveclub online significantly better than the current MCC experience.

Don't set yourself up with disappointment. It's not gonna be fully fixed in weeks. But hopefully certain important parts (like the fuckin multiplayer) will. The update that does come after WEEKS better fix the whole damn game.
There was one Forbes contributor article, nothing else that I know of.
Maybe they will offer Halo 5 at a reduced price? Or maybe they will give back $30 purchase price of HMCC?
Please be excited for the wallpaper you're getting.
This was my entry into the halo universe. Not impressed. The "i" in 343 stands for ineptitude.
