37 Minute Direct Feed Cyberpunk 2077 footage from Switch 2

imagine beating the worse console ever made in the history of gaming and make a party around it. 🤔
Some people here were expecting sub Ps4 when docked in the spec leak thread… The Switch 2 having this results so close to Series S, i way better than i expected especially for an open world game. Remember this is a mobile hardware the Series is is not.

Switch2 not having motion artifacts and performing better than TAA will make it better in motion than most consoles leaning on FSR.
That new racing game coming out on this is about to look very sick in HDR.
Shit, a smooth 40 DLSS frames with VRR might look & feel better than an FSR 60 if it's using reflex
I love DLSS on PC but DLSS isnt imune to artifacting and ghosting. Eseically when using a low base resolution which Switch 2 will be doing.

I think it just speaks to how poorly the Series S was executed. And SW2 will be what the Series S was supposed to be

IMAGINES IF WHEN DEVS LEARN TO UNLOCK FULL POWERS

That second and hidden GPU on the power brick is gonna perform some miracles in a few years.

Switch 2 having DLSS is a good thing, especially for its low power. Like i said i use DLSS on PC even when i dont need to.

Bur you cant then start acting like a Switch 2 version of a game is better because of DLSS while ignoring internal resolution, framerate, and every other graphical effect and technique.

I mean Christ if you use Switch 2 in handheld mode, native 480p would look clean on that screen size, but it wouldnt mean the Switch 2 version is better than other versions.
So, we need to pretend that the end result doesn't matter…is all about the spec now?

-Is going to be a Switch Pro less powerful than the PS4
-Is going to be less powerful than the Steamdeck
-Steamdeck is a 2022 handheld and the Switch is $450 Great achievement.
-Is going to be less powerful than the PS4 Pro lol keep dreaming
-Of course is going to be better than consoles from 2013
-120hz screen for a Nintendo Handheld lolol Hopium
-No way is going to be close to the Series S 0% chance

-Lol… it beats a 2020 Series S? … Not surprised at all <- We are here.

It does have a mysteriously high clock profile for the CPU and GPU though... Don't bet against it just yet, especially if a future stealth revision hits those clocks all the time without issue.

Wrong. It's calling clickbait. If you are not sure of something... make it VERY clear that this is a guess. What you do not want to do is scream about something when you are not sure - except you are a clown.. like DF (at least since PS5/XSeries announcement).
I think their language made it pretty clear that they were making a prediction that would be confirmed or denied by future data.

Again we're talking about the switch 2 and the series s but ok haha. And DF said that the texture quality in places is comparable to the ps4 not the resolution etc.
Tom also said it was comparable to the Series S, in the scene they were testing. All three platforms can be using the same assets for a given scene. DF have not extensively tested other scenes, especially outdoor ones, as time of day differences make this difficult.

Well the end result is that the Switch 2 version looks considerably worse than the S version in terms of graphics, but MAYBE slightly cleaner looking.
So no.
Did you watched the video? Same textures, same assets and better IQ in the SW2… How is this "considerably worse"?

It doesn't, the textures, assets and visual makeup is exactly the same. Blame that on a shitty porting job by CDProjekt perhaps, Series S is basically using PS4-ish settings.

What's the relation of this thread with HL? 😂
Well it doesnt if you want to be pedantic, but it doesnt change the fact that i was talking about Hogwarts, clearly.

And like i said ages ago, i dont think its fair to compare a version of a game coming years later, to a version of a game where the devs were struggling to hit a launch date, and had 7 versions of the game to worry about.

Lets see how things compare when NEW games get released at the same time on all platforms.

Wonder what will happen to GigaBowser GigaBowser if his Switch 2 preorder fails to materialize next week?

Anyone willing to drop the postman £20 to not deliver just to see what happens?
I'm a carrier for USPS, and I'm underpaid. It is a federal offense to delay the mail. But if I can relocate to the UK and get a job with your service after I get fired, I'll consider it.

For those of us who actually watched the video, digital foundry referenced better image quality in static shots. In moving shots, the image quality is not great and DLSS struggles to keep up. Multiple examples were shown in the video with severe aliasing.

I think at this point, thread creation rights should be revoked from certain individuals. We're talking about a game that drops to as low as 20 fps with severe aliasing and artifacting in motion. This is docked mode at the system maximum performance level. Despite all this, we have certain individual polluting the forums by creating new threads when there are existing threads discussing the same topic.

Did anyone actually watch the video or did they really take GIGABOWSER AT HIS WORD. The Switch 2 looks good in static shots but looks pretty bad in motion. Even in the footage they show where they arent calling out artifacts there is pretty bad ghosting. In the stuff they actually pick out to show it looks like FSR balanced style image break up.

Do you think that the PS4 and the Series S doesn't have moving artifacts and frames drop too? DLSS vs FSR2 😂

CLEANER IMAGE QUALITIES

SOOOOOO SWITCH 2 BETTER THEN SERIES S SOME WAYS WORSED OTHERS

DERSTOYS PS4 PRO ANNNNND STEEMDECK

I played jedi survivor with FSR 2 since they didn't add DLSS at the launch. I really wanted to give FSR a fair chance. I used 1440p FSR quality at high settings BUUUUUUT it look crud still

A year later they added DLSS. This time I've given the game a try at 1080p dlss quality at medium settings and somehow it looked more pleasing than before.

The others versions have a lot of artifacting too… Did you played the PS4/Series S version?
Series S has a higher base res and so far less artifacts. The pop in/draw distance on Switch also seems bad but I'm not sure what it's like on XSS. All I know is that it's a lot better on PS5 than that vid.
