Finally got my first StreetPass today! Was at the mall and passed someone with a female Mii named Angela. She had been playing with the 3D Pokedex and had cat ears.

I'm up to the Ultimate Ghost for the first time and he's a pain in the arse if you've had no recent street pass hits.

I've decided my strategy will be this: horde game coins over 2 days so I can use the maximum amount of fighters in one sitting. Take note of any pink, green and purple warriors - and make sure to use them first to strengthen my army and poison him. Attack with melees or magic depending on level (level 1 -> magic, level 2 -> sword).. hopefully I'll only have to do this once or twice.

I know the reward isn't that great for doing this, but there's something that COMPELS me to keep playing every day.

Got 13 MiiPlaza hits at Origins Game Fair on Saturday (would have got more if I would have thought about clearing out my full queue) and about 15 hits across all my StreePass enabled games. Pretty sweet haul!

EDIT: Huh, did this happen before the eShop update? If you have StreetPass and SpotPass data for a game, the little ball alternates between Blue and Green. Very cool!

I went to both Distant Worlds concerts in Chicago and managed to snag 75 Streetpass hits! Then I went to the Taste of Chicago the next day, and managed to get another 25 walking around.

All in all, not too bad, and I have 3 puzzles complete, and at least 4 pieces in every other puzzle now.

DAMN!! I went to the taste on Saturday but was too paranoid to bring my 3DS. I am bringing it to the Naval Base tomorrow for the 4th and hope to get some hits there.

Pretty sure it affects green magic too. So if you have a level 3 green Mii and you use magic it increases the level of the next Mii by three levels.

I did a mad StreetPass experiment in Sydney a couple of months back. Tried to get 50 hits in 12 hours on a saturday. Went to the airport, train stations, game stores, LAN centres, gamer meets, everything. Crazy day.

It ended up being a massive two part feature that I was quite proud of...

The person you connect with will be in your Mii plaza after you get a street pass, and you'll be able to use those Miis in other games. Depending on which game cart you have in your 3DS, different prizes can unlock for said game. As far as your coins go, you can spend them to unlock puzzle pieces, or if you're playing that adventure Mii game you can spend coins on new recruits.

I brought my 3DS to E3 and the most I got was 13 hits on the first day... and I did a ton of walking.

I've had the system since launch and have just started getting streetpasses. From just one person though. The strange thing is, my system has not left the house. Apparently some kid has been coming by to get streetpasses from me. My room is on the second floor on the front side of the house. The range on streetpasses must either be like 25 ft or some kid is getting all close up to my house to get streetpasses. I think he's just a kid because the last games played I've seen him with are Pokedex, Green Lantern, and Madden.

Last time I was in London with a friend I picked up 14-odd Streetpass hits. Try Piccadilly Circus and Tottenham Court Road for the choice areas.

When you get a Streetpass hit, you'll see the indicator on the top right of your 3DS (as it's closed) glow green. Streetpass hits help you in numerous games; the default games on the system allow you to pick up puzzle pieces and use the Miis you find on the Streetpass Quest game as members of your adventuring party. In other games, like Street Fighter 4, you can get little challenges between the two of you and you can win in-game items for your victories.

The coins are used in these games as a form of currency to buy items and characters (in the Streetpass Quest, you can buy cats to fight for you instead of Miis.) However Miis are always superior to the stuff you get with coins, so it's best to pick up people instead.

Yeah you have to go into the plaza and eneble streetpass for it if I'm not mistaken, also you have to turn on the streetpass feature per retail game if they have one (within the game settings/options usually).

I've now switched it on, and just come back from a jaunt down Tottenham Court Road, Oxford Street, and back up Great Portland Street. Even went into CEX, GAME and HMV en route!

Just checked my 3DS...I have the green light! No time to take a look now, but pretty excited at my first StreetPass experience!

I got a StreetPass hit the same minute I was walking into my house early this morning. Early yesterday I got a StreetPass from the same guy, and I was about a block away from my house when I got it. He must live really close to me, because it was so early I didn't see anyone else out on the street. If I'm StreetPassing this guy in his house, I'm kind of surprised he's never StreetPassed my system while going past my house. Well, maybe he just got the system to play Zelda, because it still says he has 0 tags, even after I tagged him the second time -- maybe he didn't want to close his game to get my first tag . . . ?

I've also noticed an odd "glitch". When I finished Streetpass Quest, I was playing about in Mii Plaza, and I checked out "View Mii" in the options. On the second page I noticed that I hadn't given my Mii a date of birth or a Creator, so I thought I would do it. I switched out to the Mii Maker, altered the details on my Peraonal Mii and saved. Now, when I go to View Mii again in the Mii Plaza, my date of birth is present, but the Creator (my initials) doesn't show up. Odd. And annoying.
