Ah... I believe I'm using those features already. Those are the options that costs some coins right? (Playing on JP 3DS and can't read Japanese lol) Will have to try engaging them even if I have fewer troops then.

Also, I finally got all the diamonds on all stages for Squad. Just missing the target score and no deaths achievement for 5-3 then I'm done. Almost finished arcade mode as well but died on 5-2. Hopefully, will be able to finish it on my next attempt.

Btw, what's your latest redeemed hat/outfit? Just got my tanooki (or is it fox?) Luigi set. Really cute. :)

Thanks! I think both of these things are named differently in the UK-centric guide I was linked, thus the confusion.
 
At this point NoA is probably holding off releasing these games just so they can push them out along side the Streetpass Hotzone update this Fall.
 
Whoa, I used 15 coins to get 4500 troops in Streetpass Battle, and somehow I got lucky because that number got multiplied by 10, so I got roughly 45,000 new troops, which put me at 98,000 with only 2 kingdoms left to conquer. Good stuff :)

the max bonus I got was 3000, but ten times... that's awesome.

pooh and not to spoil anything but... good luck with that last kingdom. I just arrived there.
 
I was sitting by a guy wearing a Triforce hat on the train. I'll be disappointed if he didn't give me a Streetpass.

I think I got 750 soldiers for 15 coins, but I'm very early on.
 
Europe here. Just got a puzzle swap panel notification. My Mii queue is only 3 so I'm not booting up, plus its unlikely I'd get the panel either (missing Xenoblade, Dillion).

If I was going to guess, I would say Mario & Luigi but then again Paper Mario taught us, things don't always happen that way.

Speaking of queue, I passed someone who gave me a Fire Emblem hit but not Mii Plaza. Were they evil or is it possible to get partial passes like that?

If you or him were 10/10 already for the Plaza it prolly wouldn't send it out. Most likely though he has played Fire Emblem on his 3DS but never once opened Plaza to activate it? I had to force my brother to do his haha, some people just aren't interested/don't know what it is. :(

I've even had times where neither of those were the situation and still randomly just didn't get 'all' of what I should in the Streetpass, it can be very weird like that.

I always feel mega ripped off seeing a green light on my 3DS and not getting Plaza lol.

Yes, it is a Mario and Luigi: Dream Team puzzle.
 
US 3DS here. Just got the updates with the DLC games available. (Hope it's actually news)

Unfortunately very few Streetpasses in my area

In the Fall, they'll implement that program where WiFi hotspots (the Nintendo-friendly ones) will act like long-term StreetPass hubs. Still need to be in the same place as someone else who was using StreetPass, but no longer at the same time. Ought to raise StreetPasses by a ton and actually make finding pink pieces in the wild possible!*

* - Not really on the pink pieces thing.

It will be cool, but I hope they distinguish between the two. I'd like to know who I actually StreetPassed in person.

Between my JP 3DS getting two of the five newer puzzles and my US 3DS getting one last night, I ended up with the Heroine (renamed Nintendo Starlets), Xenoblade, and Skyward Sword puzzles. Going to have to hope friends picked up the other two. Otakon is in about a month so hopefully I can clean house then.
 
Is there a package somewhere that I can get a discount when buying all the games?

If not, I'll just wait until I finished the other games (not counting puzzles) first. I don't streetpass with anybody, so I never have miis to play the games anyway...

If you keep talking to the Rabbit he'll allow you to buy a bundle for $15.

Yes, when you have a chance to buy your first one from the rabbit inside the Mii Plaza, he'll give you an option to buy all 4 for a discounted price; basically, it is a buy 3 get 1 free deal.
 
So what puzzles came out today in North America? I have Xenoblade and Skyward Sword started... Anything else to look forward to?
 
Well I've managed to get quite a few streetpasses lately so I thought I'd dive in and get the four games. Maybe AC really has brought all the 3DS owner out of the shadows.

Also I had a spare £15 eShop card that I really needed to use.

EDIT: Gosh darn it. Apparently I didn't have enough room on the card to buy the games. Guess that's a sign I need to finally update the SD card.
 
I'm stuck on the poisonous gas room in the Find Mii Quest II.

I've street passed HUNDREDS of people here in Taipei, and even managed to snag a few when I was in New York City & Nintendo World last week.

Still, I can't seem to get past that poison room.

Anyone know how?

Two yellow Miis, I think.

Took me ages to streetpass a second yellow guy to join-up with the one waiting patiently to be re-hired.
 
Decided to clear out my Streetpass data queue since games like Kid Icarus and Theatrhythm have been full for ages. Funnily enough I still streetpassed my Threatrhythm data to a friend despite my list being full. I always thought was you hit the maximum you stopped sending data.

For the first time in ages I took my 3DS for a walk while I went shopping/to the pub, despite being in a busy town centre I only got two hits and one of those was from HMV.

Maybe my 3DS has issues going through multiple layers of material.
 
Ok, in an attempt to fix my L button I had to remove my battery from my 3DS. After I got everything back together my 3DS does not streetpass with my buddies XL or my sisters OG 3DS. I have deleted mine and their profiles from our mii plazas and changed hats, but no luck. Am I screwed now?

just a guess...

since you removed the battery pack, maybe your settings got deleted.

is everything still active in your streetpass list/is streetpass still active at all in the settings?


edit:

also, how long since? it can take up to 8 hours to streetpass someone, maybe more after a full reset.

How/where in settings do you see if its on? I can see all my icons for streetpass games are still active, at least they appear to be. Battery was removed yesterday.

check system settings and then (no idea what's called in English) the box in the lower left corner (the green one).
there is your streetpass data stored. is anything in there when you click on streetpass data?

Yeah, it is on and Mii Plaza is among the games I have in my list.
 
I can take pictures inside of the Garden game? Excellent. I just wish I could upload those to Twitter/Tumblr through the browser like I can with Animal Crossing: New Leaf.
