Miiverse is pretty decent on 3DS. Not as slow as I read earlier in this thread (EDIT: browing miiverse is pretty fast, launching it from a game does take a while). Good point: pictures are displayed in 3D, which made me realize how good Bravely Default looks. I can also retrieve my Wii U activity feed, which is nice although Wii U games pictures look atrocious on 3DS.

Yeah, that ALONE is worth its weight in gold.
I have pressed the L or R button many times, accidentally opening up the camera countless times at convention. This will save me from getting lots of future headaches.

3DS communities are being flooded at the moment hahaha.
It surely isn't as good/fast as the Wii U version but the much bigger userbase makes up for it.

3DS officially in GOD mode. This will make the games so much better.
Now if only Nintendo could update the screen somehow (get rid of the 3D, my eyes can't even see it anymore!), it would be the perfect portable.

Yeah, kind of happy that Nintendo is rolling out the communities slowly, since their MiiVerse servers will be HAMMERED.
On that note, please open a Fire Emblem and Style Saavy community, I would put SO MUCH time on it.

I believe you can post on any community you want (except the few special communities now closed like the E3 2013 community, or announcement communities where admins/dev only can post) it's just that by default it will only display posts from users owning the game. You have to click on the all posts buttons to see the input form.

You can post without owning the game, but posts by people who don't own the game don't show up unless you click "All Posts" at the top of a community.

What game are you trying to post from? Not every game offers the functionality.

I see, thanks guys. The default should be to show "all posts" then, with the option to filter.
Game might need to be updated for screenshot support, no one really knows the reasoning at the moment.

At the very least you can access your most recent XY photo from the Pokemon Global Link. I just hope they fix this ASAP, there's no reason any game should be screenshot-locked, especially not 1st party titles.

I believe they changed it from default because smaller games on Miiverse just ended up getting filled with joke posts from people that don't own said games.

A NNID can only be used on 1 Wii U + 1 3DS at a time, on the condition both have the same country setting.
You are not forced to create a NNID. It is required to post on Miiverse and download demos & free software from the eShop.
I suppose that's the reason, since I had no problems with the update (no interruptions, no reboots, nothing like that), and Miiverse is working pretty well. Hopefully, it'll be solved soon.

I can't perform 3DS system transfer, it errors when trying to connect to the internet. Probably related to the eShop error.
Same reason why I can't download the latest StreetPass update
On most games that have communities, you can just load up the community and post them there.
You can then rip the pictures from the Miiverse website
Ahaha, had the exact thing this morning. Wanted to managed my ACIV fleet from bed so fired up the Vita and when I saw it was updating, thought I'd sort my StreetPass out before I went to work. Boom, double update.

Haha. You know, I can imagine this update helping the Wii U out ever so slightly, as more and more people realize that Miiverse is actually a legitimate feature.
Nintendo MUST include Miiverse mentions in their 3DS (and Wii U) ads. I felt it was a great feature for Wii U just watching videos, hearing impressions, but now that it's on 3DS...it's just TOO good. That's something that can be marketed, seriously. Especially when (hopefully) many new communities will be added in the next future.
