Since theres been some more Elder Scrolls 4 talk today... here's an interview that I dont think has been posted here yet.

A while ago we said that - when on the E3 - we did an interview with Gavin Carter and Ashley Cheng. It has taken us a while to take care of a few problems with our material, but now we are done. I hope you will enjoy these exclusive interviews with two of Elder Scrolls: Oblivion's producers.

Downloading now....344 MB!!!?! I look forward to watching this video around the same time the game is released. :P

details from teamxbox forums

Gavin Carter:
1): There will be at least one buyable house in each of the nine major cities. These houses will cost a lot of gold, and be brokered through a sort of real-estate agent. For example, in one town, you have to clear out a haunted house and then restore it.
2): There will not be banks in Cryodiil.
3): Brooms, spades, shovels, etc... will not be operable
4): Eating will not be compulsory
5): There will not be marriage.
6): There will not be children.
7): There will be infamous and famous ratings. If you are infamous, people will stay away from you. In both cases, quests might open up.
8): No comment on Lycanthropy, yet.
9): NPC's will change their clothes. From this we can deduce that they will also change their armor.
10): Age Slider will variate from early twenties to late sixties.

12): There will be no climbing skill.
13): Long Blade and Short Blade, will be one skill

15): No specifics on hooded robes.
16): Quests will be much more rich, complex, and have alternate paths to complete them.
17): Six factions so far, but that it is subject to change.
18): All magic schools from MW will be in.
19): You will be able to throw things at people with telekenises(sp).
20): Some items (tables, etc...) will be bolted down. Strength will play an important role in what you can or cannot move.
21): NPC's will fall down.
22): CS is similar to MW's. You will be able to generate forests. You pick your parameters, what you want in it and then you press "generate. This doesn't just imply forests, it implies landscape, area's.
any kind of area can be made with this, not just forests.-Alex)
23): Acrobatics will help you reach things that are farther away, thus playing a more prominant role.

Ashley Cheng:

1): You can lure creatures into traps to set them off.
2): You cannot create traps.
3): Traps will be physical not just magical. Spikes, pits, rolling balls, etc...

22): Aging is purely cosmetic and will not affect stats(There is no in game aging. This is only referring to setting your age at the start of the game nothing else.-Alex)

So fucking downloading its not even funny

Edit: That second guy seemed to forget at the end the concept of speaking clearly
I'm excited about blowing crap up with fireballs, but what I really want to know is how in depth the enchanting system is this time around. That has always been my favorite feature of TES games. It was what made me play Daggerfall so many times.

3): Brooms, spades, shovels, etc... will not be operable

:(

That sucks. It was cool finding items like a fishing pole or musical intrument in MW, but ultimately you couldn't do anything with them.

Quite a few disappointing things in there, actually. :(

I figured Cauis would be in the game, I mean he was recalled from Morrowind because of the fall of the king. Hope they make some reference to the Nerevar and losing territory in Morrowind.
