That sounds way better than what I'm doing, which is basically borrowing art from the official 50/50 page. I couldn't find what I was looking for, and I'll spare everyone my MS Paint drawings.

I'm always a little sad when a series I love comes to an end. Which is why it took me so long to finish The Last Guardian even though I'm pretty sure that I downloaded it when it was published. This was however a very satisfying conclusion to the series and as a stand alone book a lot better than the last one. Lost Colony remains my favorite though.

Tideland was a strange. Too strange for my taste.

As much as I like the manga I was not really impressed by the live action movie. And not only because my favorite character looked way too old but because at times the movie would just drag on and on. I was missing the humor from the manga. The fight scenes were rather impressive though, but I would have liked more.

Jack the Giant Slayer was just bad. Really, really bad. So bad, even Ewan McGregor couldn't save it.

Died out at a little under half way. Reading You and taking a little over a month to complete The Count of Monte Cristo completely ruined my will to read.

Signed up for 2014 challenge. Going to try to watch some classic movies that I have never seen. For the reading I may just stick to series that I enjoyed instead of trying to read 1 newly published book per month. That way there is less likely hood of running into a stinker; though, I really enjoyed the Gun Machine that I probably would not have read otherwise.

Guess this is my final update for this year. I could still finish one or two books before the first but I decided to rather just advance them until 50% so I have a bit of a head start for next year.

I really liked the idea of having most of the story take place on a stage to emphasize Tolstoy's opinion of the nobility class. But since I haven't read the book yet I thought that the story itself felt really rushed a d therefore hard to follow. There seemed to be lot of subplots that are probably far more important in the book but only got mentioned in passing here.

I'm sure movie 175 was called 'A Christmas Miracle', but I can't seem to find it on imdb. It definitely wasn't the same as Christmas Miracle (2012) or My Santa (aka A Christmas Miracle (2013)) so maybe it was the 2009 one with no info? I'm still trying to recall who was in it, but it was a very average movie so I'm not sure :|

He does bring up a good point, though. I never even considered adding the director's name to my list but may do so next year. 99% of the movies I listed are pretty obvious as to what they are, but there could be some confusion with movies using the same titles.

I also think I might add a page count to my book list this next year, although I don't want the list to get so complicated it becomes unreadable.
