Some parts of it had been proven, such as Baylor not complying with Title IX, a couple players had been arrested, and other aspects had been reported previously by investigative journalists, such as Baylor officials ignoring and possibly covering up sex assault reports.

Obviously a lot of the lawsuit hasn't been "proven" as it's still just a lawsuit.

Edit: Maybe unreleated, but was looking at a USA Today timeline and saw the basketball scandal of 2003. Baylor has had some really fucked up scandals.

So just an update. The dad, head coach Art Briles, took the heat and got fired & blackballed. Art just now got fired from the CFL job 12 hours his hiring by the Hamilton Tigercats.
