You should still watch it. The ending is really done well.

Yeah I was really hyped to see it but my local IMAX never showed it so it fell off my radar. Kinda stupid reason looking back. I'm getting the 3D bluray steelbook soon. I still look forward to seeing it.

#12YearsASlave's #Oscars win makes it the first time a film by an African-American has won Best Picture in its entire 86-year history.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Why, because the camera didn't cut while two unemotional characters I don't care about were talking about stuff I care even less?
The word you are look for is subtly and pacing. It's a movie that has as much merit in its subject matter as it does in its precise, methodical execution.

Edit: It helps to have a bit of political context before going into the film. Just like 12YAS. It isn't necessary, but everything clicks much faster.

Very solid year for movies and the Oscars. Ellen did a decent job and it was good to see the awards spread around a bit.

Kinda surprised about American Hustle not winning anything, but to honest I'm also sort of pleased. I enjoyed it plenty in the theater, just sort of forgot about it immediately after. Didn't really have much staying power.

I actually think Matthew McCoughany's performance was really amazing, but what was better than his performance? His acceptance speech. That was the best acceptance speech I ever saw on the Oscars.
Yeah, that was great.

Look at DiCaprio's filmography and tell me that isn't some of the best you've ever seen of our generation.

I can't feel too bad for him because he gets his pick to fuck any of the Victoria Secret models tonight but he still deserves an Oscar.

Jesus Christ I opned that Vine again and only just killed it. >_<

I think her in-ear monitor was messed up. Her timing was off, too. I'd wager production is at fault.

Could be, she put up a pic that looked like they were messing with it before she went on or just put it in without testing. Yeah it was, but I for me at least it sounded worse the first time were they other songs cut down?

Matthew is prepping for the moment he goes over 9000 when Nolan's Interstellar releases.

Happy was definitely cut down. It's hard to imagine the U2 song being cut down, because that shit went on and on, but I can't speak with authority on that one.

I like Leo, loved Wolf of Wall Street but Daniel Day Lewis has a far better resume.

I Love DDL, but he has a few more years under his belt.He also goes years and years without doing anything.

He also has 3 best actor trophies, which he deserved, but Leo should have won multiple times as well

Yeah. As hard as it tried I couldn't connect to it emotionally. I blame Steve McQueen, I just do not fucking get this guy and his movies.

:lol
