I get the OP's paranoia. The way he described his roommate, she sounds like she was maybe trying to trap him, or at least I can see why he views it that way. She acts strange, then she gives him the condom?

I was General Akbaring so hard when I read that.

Statistically, it's pretty safe to say she isn't pregnant though. Yet that's one of my big fears, so I really do get the paranoia.

I should have probably bolded this in your post: "Kids are great, even if you think it'll ruin your life.".

No, they're not objectively great, and they could "ruin" someone's life. That's why, when somebody doesn't want kids it's best to either stay celibate, make sure proper contraception is being used, or (as Juke Joint Jezebel said) go for types of intercourse other than vaginal.

And yes, whoever has a child that's not wanted should at least pay child support. I'm not advocating for deadbeat parents leaving their child, just so we're clear.

Plot twist, she was pregnant before they had sex.

I'm with you though, the entire thing sounds made in the shade. Who wants to bet that OP has sex with her again and the cycle continues.
 
Alright, an update! Good news is, there's a very strong possibility nothing happened. I can relate to the fear you must be feeling right now. If she's being truthful and correct about her biological rhythm, the odds are in your favor. If she doesn't want to take pills that's her choice, but I'd confront her about why she's not willing to do it for your sake. I doubt you're going to have a pleasant time, helplessly waiting for her next period.

To be honest, it reads a bit too much like her trying to get pregnant on purpose to draw you into a relationship you declined. But after 11 years of friendship, both of you should know better. I don't want to put more ideas into your head, but if that's what she wanted to do, the condom was most likely tampered with.

Learn how to put a condom on the right way next time. You shouldn't get cum all over the place when you're wearing a condom.

Edit: On topic, you fucked up. You just have to wait it out and if it turns out that she is pregnant, support whatever decision she decides to go with. Possibly consider getting a paternity test down the line just to be sure. Hope you make wiser choices in the future.
 
In this day and age any chick who wouldn't get an abortion at such a young age probably never aspired to be anything anyway, and having the kid is a way to make her life have more meaning. I have no love watching all the thickwits I went to school with who got pregnant at 20 parade their benefit-scrounging lives around town.

Not that controversial and i slightly agree. Why stay in a relationship because of a baby you weren't planning to have. An then try to force it, It's not good for anyone that type of environment will breed lots of bad behavior. Unless things work out somehow which is rare especially down the line.

I'm going to need specificity in the milliliters, here. There are up to 300 million sperm per milliliter, so it's imperative for us to get an accurate baseline measurement before we begin discussing probabilities.

I look at my friends who had kids in their early 20's and whose kids are almost full grown while they are still relatively young and think.. damn.. kinda wish I started earlier.

My wife wouldn't have had an abortion at any age, but glad you think she's a thickwit.
 
Don't worry OP. At 26 you can't get girls pregnant. Worry about the creampies when you hit 30.

That gives you 3-4 more years of practice.

Kinda staggering that people think it's so easy to get pregnant. It really isn't. Despite what women's magazines will have you believe.

I remember having a scare with my first girlfriend back in 98 because the condom broke. We both panicked so I jumped into an encyclopaedia (lol) to do some research. I read that the window to get a woman pregnant is like 12 hours each month. It's a tiny fucking window.

For every horror story you hear about someone getting pregnant first try, there'd be fucking TONNES who not only don't get pregnant first shot, but take a long ass time.

My first child it took 9 months of trying. Very regularly. Second time we did some research and worked to her ovulation cycle and got pregnant after a month. We were also told that the closer to ovulation you get, the better your chances of having a boy. So yeah the second kid was a boy as a result of working to her ovulation cycle.
