A 3rd party PS4 Elite Controller spotted on Target

That does look pretty good, is it legit? I don't see how they can get away with making a wireless ps4 controller that supports xbox one elite accessories/parts

It says it's compatible with all of the XBO Elite controller accessories, so hopefully you can switch the sticks out.

Hope something like this turns out well, because PS4 deserves a better controller option.

Looks like a Chinese ripoff.

The analog sticks are so terrible looking, they make the one on the Steam controller look amazing in comparison. The entire thing looks kinda knockoff cheapy tbh.

The back of the box reads:

The PS4 Elite Controller allows for the most customizable gaming experience for your PlayStation 4 console.

-Switch between D-Pads and thumbstick grips for a more personalized control.

-Different combinations improve accuracy, speed, and reach, so you can master any game.

-Bluetooth controller can also work with the included micro USB braised cable.

-Compatible with Xbox Elite Controller accessories. For use with PlayStation 4.

-The included joysticks are held by a magnet and a reinforced ring and can easily be switched out.

-The included joystick grips are made from a hybrid silicone, especially engineered for performance.

-The 4 back paddles work with the preset configuration to execute different moves and customize your gaming experience even more. The preset configuration is for the fron buttons (X, O, [ ], /\).

- Trigger buttons can be locked to only push halfway, allowing for faster button clicking. You can easily switch back to full range trigger motion.

so who is this made by?

China.

Definitely a cheap-o from China or some such place. Just the way this text is worded, coupled with the errors...

So yeah, no.

Well atleast the price is reasonable

All I see is an ugly as sin controller, with included plastic knock-off Xbox Elite controller parts, and rubberized (sweaty) grips. I don't see how $80 is reasonable. Yes compared to the X elite it is, but eventhough great quality, that one is massively overpriced.

I don't know what I expected but I didn't think it would be EXACTLY the same thing.

This would be great if it actually matches the quality of the Xbox one.

it won't

Gah, Sony better release a premium controller, I'm vaguely tempted by this terrible thing. (Anybody online sell an Elite with PS buttons? Or how hard would it be to mod that?)

I'm surprised there isn't something from a more decent brand yet. If you want something like the Elite controller on PS4 your best option is to use an adapter or a Scuf controller.

Razer should've already made one since PS is the big console this gen and many current PC titles support PS4 controllers, but they haven't made one yet for whatever reason (despite them having one for Android, two for the 360 and one for XBO as well as arcade sticks for 360 and XBO). Sony hasn't made one either and Hori's isn't as good as the Elite controller.

Those sticks ruin the controller

Those style of sticks were the best part of the DualShock 3, and the switch from convex to concave was the biggest mistake made on the DS4.

This controller looks pretty ugly, but those sticks look like something I'd lovd to have.
