Those style of sticks were the best part of the DualShock 3, and the switch from convex to concave was the biggest mistake made on the DS4.

I have to wonder though if this means Sony could be readying their own Elite controller and the 3rd party is trying to get it out there early and at a cheaper price point.

I don't think Sony needs to create a full blown version of the XB1 Elite controller but a Semi-Pro one.

COD pros use them now in competitions because it reduces the latency the DS4 has with bluetooth. So I'd imagine the latency is about the same with the XB1 controller.

I agree. The DS3 sticks had a good texture to them and just enough grip. They also were larger and I've always thought the DS4 sticks are too small and the concave nature of them add nothing.

Wired. Which they do with the DS4's with it as well. It's the only way to get around bluetooth.

Edit: Just googled it, looks like Xbox One one too, who would buy such stupid cheap looking crap, reminds me of those 3rd party pad you could get for the SNES and MD.
