Did they keep the crazy amount of lore for the items you pick up like keys?
Seriously, I've never seen anyone talk about this detail of the game and it really surprised me and is easily missed, but if you examine the key items you find you get crazy amounts of lore for them like a key in the Venice level is described as being used by two lovers to meet in secret, stuff like that.
I don't even know if they kept that for Sigma II, it's comparable to stuff like what FROM does, but I've never seen anyone mention that detail about Ninja Gaiden II.
