It's all in the title
of course some not great overall games could include some great parts

what's your favorite ones that you think everyone should try at least one time?

a bossfight? a dialogue? a determinate level?

a particular sequence of inputs :
up, down, left, right, A+START during the opening scene of Sonic the Hedgehog (right when Sonic appear from inside the giant ring)
Then you choose the final level, beat up robotnik (stay on the right side of the screen it will be easier) and don't forget to jump on his flying saucer when he escapes to unlock the true ending.

two moments that i always remember with pleasure

in The Last Remnant, the battle with The Fallen boss

in Enchanted Arms, the tower almost at the end of the game, where you can level up and freely perform a lot of epic battles; better part of the game imo

I had to read the thread title a few times. I am guessing you're asking for standout or iconic sequences everyone should try and experience?

OG God of War 1-2-3 intros.

One of the challenge areas (not sure if they have an official name, but the doors lock and you have a whole bunch of enemies to kill) in one of the modern Doom games.

Years later I still get goosebumps whenever I watch these two scenes.
This whole saga was so well planned. Shame they never managed to reach the same level of writing, only AC4 and Origins came close-ish.

The elevator/tower stage in Madworld. A lengthy gauntlet test of your skill near the end of the game.

all while a cool song is playing reminding you to breathe during the small moment of time between bouts.

A boss battle happens right afterwards.

This game desperately needs a remaster outside of the Wii.

I think the first section of Persona 5 dealing with the teacher is really strong. It's not that the rest is bad, but that felt like the part the devs most cared about.

There's a level in donkey kong tropical freeze that's based on Serengeti Africa it's fantastic and the music is sublime I feel like that level along with a few others in different games perfectly encapsulate the medium.

Titanfall 2 - Time shifting mission (don't know the name)
Dishonored 2 - A Crack in the Slab aka The Clockwork Mansion
Witcher 3 - Blood and Wine (vastly better in every way than the main game)
Indiana Jones - Shanghai location

Bahamuth fight FFXVI.... That was epic.

E33 Simon fight on Expert

FFXIV Susano active time command for the first time

FFVII Linkin park AMV from 2000

FF8 Diablos fight

FF9 Lifa Tree destruction

Legenda of Legais combat system

Mario Galaxy all of It

GoW 3 Chronos fight

Uncharted 2 train segment

Man, there is too many moments.

Top of all time for me is easily a totally blind and unspoiled descent into Siofra River. I have no expectation of a game ever being able to top this.

I'd also add: (being completely unspoiled is implied in most of these)

Exploring a really good random tunnel in any STALKER game at night with headphones.
The final lap of a 200-lap endurance race in any good sim racer (talk about a game having a PHYSICAL effect on your body and circulatory system)
Final leg of a hotly contested rally championship in the rain. Dirt Rally 2.0 or WRC
Stumbling upon the Ashtray Maze in Control
A good group playing a long Red Orchestra round in its prime
Half Life 2 playthrough at release

The entire final sequence in TotK, after the slow descent into the Depth and you finally reach the areas from the prologue, then...
The fight against the Demon King's army
The arrival of the Sages
The first fight against Ganondorf
The second phase against his Demon King form, with his hleath bar growing back up... and up... and up... and... hey that's the edge of the screen you mofo!
The Sages coming back to the rescue again
The Dragon Demon transformation and fight
The dive after Zelda

(putting all of that in spoilers, for all of you who haven't reached that part yet)
