A quick Zelda: OoT question

psycho_snake

I went to WAGs boutique and all I got was a sniff
I've actually been playing master quest and Im on the fire temple, but I was just trying to thiunk back to the time when I picked up the master sword and I compltely forgot what happened

What I want to know is how all the monsters got into the temple? Im guessing it was ganons doings but why did he do it?

Secondly, is it both Hyrule and the Sacred realm that are evil or is it just hyrule? I remember that the sacred realm turned into the dark realm when Ganon was sent there at the end of the game, but if I remember correctly, didnt the sacred realm also turn evil when he touched the triforce?

Also, was the temple of time built to protect the sacred realm.

My last question is this: Someone called sheik a "he", I cant remember when but they did, now sheik is Zelda, so is Zelda a man or a I missing something?

I guess people all first saw sheik and thought "he" was a man? So they called sheik a "he"? Of course until "he" unveiled "himself".

The Temple of Time seems to have been built as a new resting place for the Master Sword, and the keys to the sacred realm. On unlocking the gates and drawing the Master Sword, Link becomes absent for the next 7 years, allowing Ganondorf to do his bidding.

The sacred realm or golden land, home of the triforce, reflects the heart of whoever touches it in everything. You don't actually see this land in Ocarina of Time, but you do in Link to the Past's Dark World. Hyrule has become twisted by Ganon's own design, by his own power. Wisdom and Courage elude him. So he still needs the two pieces that rest with Shiek/Zelda, and Link in order to truly reign over Hyrule and turn it to darkness. Just as the triforce twisted the golden land into darkness in Ganon's possession (LttP): if the triforce were assembled in Hyrule and in the possession of ganon, it would have a similar effect on Hyrule itself.

Shiek's fascade is either fully believed by whoever you're talking about, or they were implicit in the deception in order to keep Zelda safe. Zelda is definately female, don't worry.

From what I remember of lttp, wasnt the sacred realm still peaceful the first time you enter it?

The forest's Master sword resting place was still peaceful barre a couple of theives here and there. With a veil of fog that lifts when you draw the sword. The first time you enter the other world is when you go to fight Anaghim at Hyrule Castle. He draws you in, and after a boatload more dungeons you discover his real identity, his master, who'd been in this land all along.

He was already there because he had entered in the violent wars that broke out to enter the golden land, and seize the legendary golden power, Triforce. The King ordered seven sages to seal the land away to stem the fighting, with many still inside.

Nope the first time you enetered the sacred realm was after you got the Master sword and got beat down by the Aghninnim(?) dude while attempting to rescue Zelda (not really true, the first time you enter the sacred realm was in the mountain top when you were trying to get to the third temple and got turned into a BUNNY!). That's where Aghniinnnim came from after all.

Did ganondorf manage to get his hands on the whole triforce or did it split and go to Link and Zelda?

Up until the advent of Wind Waker, the order of events was clearly OoT -> LttP

In OoT, Ganondorf approaches the Triforce and due to his lack of internal balance, remains only with the ToPower. Courage goes to Link, and Wisdom to Zelda. Power was more than enough for him to conquer Hyrule, however.

When OoT, Ganondorf gets sealed in the Sacred Realm, and the 3 Triforce remain divided.

However, now that WW has injected itself in between OoT and LttP, things get mixed up a bit. Obviously, at the end of WW, the 3 Triforce are extracted from their respective hosts, reunited, and wished upon. Once the wish is completed, the Triforce vanish.

How things wind up for LttP, exactly, is now somewhat unclear. Hopefully Zelda 2K5 will solve this little pickle.

Perhaps another question is, If Ganon obtained or wished upon the whole Triforce when he entered the Golden Land, how did Zelda and Link and up with the Triorce of Wisom and Courage to begin with? How did it become a part of them?

ALTTP's manual kind of contradicts itself. It says the gods created Hyrule and the Triforce was left behind in the Golden Land. However, it then goes on to say that some of buildings in Hyrule housed the Triforce at one point. Well, what point was this? I thought Ganon got the Triforce and was sealed into the Dark World by Link and Sages?

Zelda and Link got the triforce of wisdom and the triforce of courage because they were the two that represnted those two features the most.

Im guessing that when someone makes a wish with the triforce, it goes back to the sacred realm.

Just want to get this straight, but in ooT when gaanondorf touches the triforce or enters the scared realm, was it ruled by ganondorf or was it still a prosperous place?
