A Reason To Go All Digital...

Dilemma:

I wanna play Immortals Fenyx Rising
I don't wanna leave the house
I also want the best deal

But what if I don't like it?
What if I do, beat it, and never touch it again?
What if I wanna resell down the line?

To make matters worse this is Nintendo
Their account system is desperate need of an overhaul

I'm also cheap
Not out of necessity but habit
Now that I have it I'd rather keep it in my pocket
Kinda like Eugene Krabs
Every penny counts

AND...this is a Ubisoft game
They don't hold their value at all
I can see a price drop coming soon

But I'm in the house bored

Just looking for some perspective

Invite some friends over. Consume copious amounts of alcohol. Play Risk.
Boredom cured... however you might get into a fistfight.

Those are why I only go digital if it's something I'm pretty sure I'll enjoy AND it's a long game with DLC planned so the disc copy would be worth peanuts when I was done and wanted to sell OR it's so cheap digitally I don't care about resell value.

Otherwise, I'd rather buy physical so I can sell when I'm done or if I don't like it. I don't need to do that with the money I (and my wife make) and not having any bad debts etc. But I still try to be frugal and keep costs down as much as possible and it's pretty damn simple relative to the cost savings to list games I beat or drop and won't touch again on eBay or Amazon and then print a label, stuff them in a bubble envelope and stick in the mailbox.

The only reason to go digital is that because of a disability you are unable to easily stand up and change the disc.

There are no other pros, only cons in going full digital.

What if my disability has me unable or unwilling to fight traffic and deal with other human beings in order to secure the game?

At the moment I have no desire to see the outside world

But I hear you

The lack of resale options for convenience

Have you ever heard of Amazon.com?
