I do this too, I can't forget what I grew up with so yeah it's a blessing. I don't moan about frame rate so much or graphics as I remember playing and enjoying all the N64 games with their rudimentary 3D and low FR. Goldeneye was 20 fps but one of my favourite gaming experiences.

I still consider TLOU 2 to be a king in visuals and animations and back then, graphics king as a whole. In 2024, it's still in the top 5 looking games of all time, IMO.
