It seems like today was the final day for the Sugoi . Over the past year or two I'd found it to be the best gaming news site for import news on the web. The layout was simple yet efficient, the news was fast, and it covered mainstream + niche stuff that magicbox and others wouldn't even bother reporting on. They will be missed

Which comes from people who scour sites like The Sugoi all day.

They really were good, and this news definitely sucks. I found out about most of my favorite obscure imports, including Technic Beat and Gurulogi Champ, from them. 'Tis a sad day!

I frequent most of the sites that they used to cut and paste news & screens from, but I'll still miss them. They were a daily visit for me. I loved the variety of games that they'd cover and their jokes, and the fact that their French was easier to parse than Japanese is for me.
