A few suggestions out of my mind, which would depend on your genre preferences:
PS5:
- PS Plus Extra (this subscription has a ton of great games like several of the ones listed below)
- Astro Bot
- Astro's Playroom (free and preinstalled in the console, very short but fun)
- Sackboy: A Big Adventure
- If you liked Rift Apart you can also get Ratchet & Clank (PS4 game released in 2016, visuals won't be as top tier but it's a good game that must still look good and now must be super cheap)
- LocoRoco Remastered
- LocoRoco 2 Remastered
- Gravity Rush Remastered
- Gravity Rush 2
- Parappa the Rapper Remastered
- Kena: Bridge of Spirits
- Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered, and after it Marvel's Spider-Man 2
- EA FC (if you like football / soccer), MLB (if you like baseball), Madden NFL (if you like American football), etc
- Gran Turismo 7 if you love the cars culture and want a good challenge (it has a free demo called "My First Gran Turismo")
- Wipeout Omega Collection (several top futuristic arcade racers remade or remastered)
PS5/PC/in some cases Switch 2 (I suggest PS5 to ensure optimal performance etc):
- Street Fighter 6
- Monster Hunder Wilds
- Mega Man 11
- Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 & 2
- Sonic Mania Plus (or Sonic Mania)
- Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy (features Crash Bandicoot 1-3)
- Crash Bandicoot 4
- Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled
- Guacamelee!
- Hohokum
- Balatro
- Tetris Effect (best version of the classic puzzle)
NSW2: basically the main stuff:
- Mario Odyssey
- Mario Wonder
- Metroid Dread (it's the best selling one in the series)
- Captain Toad
- Zelda BotW + TotK
- Animal Crossing New Horizons
- Splatoon 3
- DK Bananza
- Mario Kart World, Mario Kart 8
- Super Smash Bros Ultimate
Yes, I'd get Spider-Man Remastered and after its sequel Marvel's Spider-Man 2.
Consider that anything related to Marvel now it's also Disney. So yes, there will be fights, some bad guys shooting and maybe some blood but pretty light/mild stuff, no frequent blood, no gore, you won't be massively shoting or slashing guys etc.
As general rule anything coming from Nintendo/Disney(which includes Star Wars and Marvel) is going to be perfectly ok for a 10 years old -and up- kid, like any Star Wars or Spider-Man movie.
As general idea, I suggest to check the age ratings
ESRB (USA)/
PEGI (EU)/
USK(Germany). You can check any game in their websites, but the rating of the games is also specified in their boxes or digital store pages.
In this case it's ESRB T (Teens and up) and mentions to feature: "Blood, Drug Reference, Language, Mild Suggestive Themes, Violence". I'd say games rated as T are ok for 10/11 years old kids. The ESRB rating you should avoid is the one rated as M (for mature) or the ultra rate AO (adults only).
Regarding PEGI, I'd say PEGI 12 (recommended for 12 years old and above) and generally PEGI 16 (recommended for 16 years old and above) are ok for a 10-11 years old kid even in theory PEGI 12 and PEGI 16 aren't recommended for a 10 years old kid.
Basically regarding violence PEGI splits it in this way:
- PEGI 7: Super mild and cartoonish, non realistic violence
- PEGI 12: Very light/cartoonish violence against or not against humans (robots, monsters, zombies, aliens)
- PEGI 16: Light/medium violence againt humans, little blood
- PEGI 18: Extreme violence against humans (gore, sliced people), tons of blood
As you can see these age ratings are pretty strict, a bit too strict. As reference, the level of violence in Spider-Man Remastered is the same than in Miles Morales and they rated it like this:
USK is basically the German version of PEGI, the same but totally banning any nazi related content. This is the reason of why recent videogames that includes nazis normally modify swastikas and related stuff.
