According to the media the world would be a better place without video games/religion/'bad' music/violent movies/teens/liberuls/arabs/hispanics/homosexuals/blacks/tree huggers/and the list goes on.
They always seem to paint a good and evil picture even though things are never that simple.

Oh my! 25% of gamers under 17 list a mature game (Rated 14+, right?) as among their top wanted games! OH THE HUMANITY!
This was blown WWWAAAYYY out of proportion.
And they let that 6 year old play Halo 2? What stand-up parents.
I can't complain. I let my 6 year old brother play Halo 2, and the boy on the promo probably does not have a sick love for Jason Vorhees, Freddy and Chucky. I'm talking about posters, and his favorite comics and superheroes are Spawn and the Punisher for his cool guns and the skull.

They had one of the creators on MSNBc and Deb Norville was throwing double standards left and right. It's honorable and ok for media to make a million JFK specials, movies, and stuff about " John John". A game that looks at the BS we're fed with magic bullets and what not is exploitative. Is Saving Private Ryan exploitative of WWII?
FYI cspan had Lieberman's yearly rant on games and it was pretty absurd, bitching about "The Guy game", Leisure suit and the like, and showing footage of tits and fucking from those games. They kept crying that they were A_O games when that material in a movie might not even get an R rating.
