I knew some WiiU games were targeting 60fps at 1080p & in hast did a quick meme google.

Smash Bros. isn't out. Before they were out, many of these games "were" 1080pNot true. Smash Bros. is 1080.
So FF13 PC supporting 60 FPS is merely another piece of evidence that S-E hates PC gamers? They don't want them to experience the full cinematic splendor.
The really funny part here isn't that one or two of these games aren't 1080p. It's that none of them are.
All of these games are 720p.

you know what, with the stuff these developers say these days, it just shows the lack of respect they have for the audience. it's like they think we're all complete morons.

Seriously, they should just stop with that whole "cinematic feel" bullshit.
Nothing to do with lazyness, more to do with how well you can sell a game with eyecandy, vs higher framerate.
Then again, if the crowds and the CPU are the real bottleneck, perhaps they will have some crucial gameplay implication.... that they refuse to use as a justification for some reason.

I think there's a real possibility that it isn't meant to be deceptive. That some of these guys actually believe what they are saying. In some ways that's even more disturbing.

Unity is a next/current-gen game only. If a cross-gen open world game like MGSV can run 1080p and 60FPS there is no fucking reason why Ubi can't do it with Unity.
It's all just damn excuses, same with female characters in the game. 10 fucking studios are working on this damn game and you tell me they couldn't get the game to run at 60FPS if they want to? or they come up with stupid excuses like "60FPS doesn't look real and is less cinematic, 30FPS feels better".... yeah fuck off Ubisoft i'm done with your shit.
