I"ve heard some Dell monitors have issues with their backlights. Dunno which models, might want to look into it though.

pretty tough the LG has better refresh but inferior max rez. I never use the 1600x1200 rez at the same time 16ms is pretty stable from what i've seen no real ghosting,so eh Id go for the LG just because Dell is evil. that is all.

Are you aware of Samsung's recently announced zero dead pixel policy? It says S. Korea only, but as of a week ago I've heard from a couple places that it's for the US, too.

Both of those are 20ms or higher. UNACCEPTABLE!@!

The LG is hot because it is 12ms, and the Dell is nice because it is 16ms but at 20.1 inches!!
