So she got 75 days according to NPR radio.

The NY Times source makes me wonder why this trial has been so heavily politicized. Reading the details as they reported about the case, this was not that kind of incident. Taking Occupy out, we have an intoxicated woman hitting a police officer during one of their arrest round ups. She testified to this. And we can't tell whether or not the injuries she sustained happened before or after she hit an officer, which is an important detail.

Whether by accident or not (because, as the NY Times points out, any physical harm you put an officer in during an arrest in NYC can get you a felony charge), I'm not sure what the justice system did "wrong" here. Again, that's with taking out the actual protest from the equation. The fact that the roundups happened in the way they did at all is an entirely different matter that puts more than a bit of shame on the NYC government at that time.
