I don't deny he bleached the rest of the skin that hadn't gone white, but he didn't do it out of some weird beauty fetish like it's often claimed...

It's a tough choice. I mean, none of the options are really pretty. Leave his miscolored as it (no way for a pop star like him), cover it with make up all the time, or bleach it all. I think most of his early surgeries were for good reasons/only light touch ups but he later became addicted to it.
