Hi

My CX is dieing (screen) and I am looking to upgrade. I have watched a lot of reviews but as always its not a straight forward anwser or choice. I am looking for real use experience/advice, I consider the next TVs. I am willing to pay more if the quality is that big. Most important thing is gamin (PS5 Pro) and watching shows/movies via streaming services

1. LG OLED G5 55inch (€ 1.399)
2. Sony Bravia 8 ii 55inch (€ 1.999)
3. Samsung S95F 55 inch ( € 1.699)

What would you choose?

If you can spend 2000 euros then i'm gonna throw the panasonic z95b in the mix, you can find it for 100 euros less than the sony in europe.

I'm in the same situation and reduced the fight between the g5 and the panasonic.

I'm eyeing the Bravia 8mkii myself, can't go wrong with a Sony plus I want that center channel sync with Quads setup

You can't go wrong with the Samsung or LG really. But it is LG all day of course. Gave my CX away a few months ago and decided to get the 65" G4 and its been quite an upgrade, can only imagine how the 165hz G5 is.

The CX is still a monster today compared to other tvs so get the G5 and future proof yourself for at least 5 years.

If you're looking for a soundbar I picked up a Samsung Q990D sound bar with it and its been perfect since. If you get the Samsung TV pretty sure there's a Q-Symphony thing that enhances the sound even more.

Of your options, my friend... I'd go for the LG first. Second, Samsung... I have a NeoQLED... But sometimes it's slow to load YouTube videos.

I wouldn't buy the Sony screen.

Update: got myself a LG OLED G5 65 inch for € 1830. But looking at CES I think I should have waited for G6 hahaha.

I don't mean to hijack the thread but I've been eyeing a 55 or 65in LG C5 for a while now and LG is announcing the C6 series today ... based on this video ... is the c6 worth it over the much cheaper C5 specifically for the 55 or 65in versions?
