I'm sure many of you have seen it already, Tunak Tunak Tun by Dahler Mehndi. I tried looking up cultrual references when I first saw it but I could never find anything to explain what in the hell was going on in the video. The best explanation belongs to my brother who said that he and all his clones were not unlike the power rangers who are trying to get the attention of some woman. :lol

Well, see for yourself if you haven't already. Apologies if it offends anyone.

Dahler Mehndi rules. I've seen a fair number of his other videos, and while they aren't up to the level of "Tunak Tunak Tun", they're pretty freakin' awesome and usually featuring Mehndi (wearing his homemade costumes) macking on hot Indian babes. Cue wacky hijinx.

However, the my favorite Indian music video features a bunch of kids demanding a tale from an old storyteller, who proceeds to relate the tale of their village's lion and how he went out into the world. Cue a hick on a tractor driving around, catching the attention of a hot Indian babe, and having wacky hijinx, all set to a sample of a cover of "That's The Way I Like It". It even has animation segments, and confirms my theory that the best music videos have a tractor in them - but that's a story for another time.
