Holy shit, these full page blocking ads that you have to click to exit are beyond ridiculous. Just started seeing them on mobile yesterday.

That full screen video ad messed me up. I clicked on my notification bar and my entire screen gets taken over with a "fiver" commercial. I thought I clicked to a wrong tab or had malware for a second. I know advertisement revenue is necessary, but it was jarring.

I have posted way less here due to the new ads. They are way overboard. Can't even check your alerts easily because the full page add pops up on your phone as you try to tap alerts.

I find myself often bailing when my screen is taken over by an ad. In a surprising twist, it acts like one of those 'wellbeing' apps that reminds you to take a break.
