It contains faster loading times, updated graphics, more people on-screen, a new "streaming" mode where different things will happen if you type in certain words/commands, contains all the free & paid DLC, and some visual filters (I THINK that's exclusive to PS4).

Yep.
Feel kind of bad about cancelling support of the original effort when there are months of difference, but I prefer to have the best version and my PS4 desperately needs something to play.
There was still some controversy about forcing little asian girls to take off their clothes or something like that

Honestly surprised (in a good way) that they announced this version before the PS3/Vita versions were out. Probably going to cancel my Vita preorder and get the PS4 version.

I thought the ps3 version (localized one) is going to have all the dlc too. Was this just pertaining to the jp release?
I don't remember them ever announcing a release date (correct me if I'm wrong). So it couldn't have been pushed back if that was true!
BB has the PS3/Vita versions slated for 8/5. It's why I'm asking if this might imply a PS4 release very soon.
Oh, that's a placeholder. That doesn't really imply anything about the PS4 release, and the fact they said holiday means it'll probably be a few months post PS3/Vita vers.
I'm pretty sure they confirmed the DLC is coming (including the licensed stuff based on games & anime), but I don't recall if we still have to download/buy it or if it'll be included on the disc/cartridge.
Oh yeah, the other "exclusive" thing for PS4 is that Chibi Mode, something you have to unlock in the PS3/Vita ports (I think by beating the game), is unlocked right from the start.
There was also a first print bonus of more costumes for the heroines, but no idea if Xseed is doing that.

Well, won't really work as a time-waster until Xillia 2 if it's getting pushed back a week. Might as well wait until I get a PS4 if that.

It's just agenda pushers making a game that is not meant to be taken seriously into something comparable to the anti-christ or something. On the PS4 version you can literally make it rain panties from the skies.... how is that meant to be serious? No words.

So Amazon does not have a PS4 listing yet and neither Xseed's Twitter nor website mention this. Gematsu article has no link to the announcement.

Hey I mentioned nothing of the sort. I'm just tired of people making certain games a scapegoat, while other forms of "adult content" like ultra violence get a pass. Half of the people you can undress are dudes, as others have mentioned.
You can not like the game and that's fine, but to simply say it doesn't exist and that you can't talk about it on here.... that's just ignorant censorship. If it were to be a straight H game I could understand discouraging talk of it on here, but that's another topic altogether.
