Give it to me straight guys. I know these two are not comparable but if I liked Jak and Daxter: The lost Frontier, arguably the worst game of the series, will I like Knack? I'm normally very lenient when it comes to cartoony games.

I'll be honest with you guys.. I had the PS4 since launch and the only game I've beaten so far has been Knack. I had a lot of fun with it, even though the game is repetitive and became sort of a chore towards the end.

This is the problem. The main character is ugly and the rest of the cast is mostly generic. Under that, there is a great platformer to be discovered with great controls and beautiful graphics.
I bought the game for 15 last week and it was a pleasant surprise.

I'm not going to lie, but this thread got me a little depressed since I thought it was going to be a real appreciation for the Knack game 
I HOPE Sony releases Knack on PS Plus since it really deserves people to ACTUALLY play it and not tease this game. I can see this game being the PS4's Folklore a few years from now.

Thoroughly enjoyed it!
I would have liked to see a little more variety in the gameplay. Mix it up with some challenging platforming moments and puzzles.
Would definitely hop on a sequel. Here's to hoping that's what Cerny is working on now.

I enjoyed Knack quite a bit myself. My daughter loved watching me play and especially loved when Knack exploded and the ball rolled around.
Fun game. Quite challenging on Hard. It did get repetitive and such but there is plenty of potential

To me, Knack is waking up early in the morning for work and realising it's Saturday.
Knack is a cup of hot chocolate in front of a warm fire on a cold Christmas morning.
Knack is that feeling of completeness and warmth when holding a loved one.

I never quite understood what seemed to be almost a determination from detractors of this game that everyone hate this game. It was like, whenever I said it this game was awesome, it offended people and I was told why this game can not be awesome.
Try beating this game at the hardest difficulty and the gameplay and engine are solid all the way through to the end.

PS3 launch wasn't as good as PS4 because it didn't have Knack at launch, for sure
