ERMYGERD!
Something about a book and it's cover.

Also, the tattoo-parlor where I had mine put had a saying "The only difference between tattood people and non-tattood people is that tattood people don't care if you're tattood."

So very true in most cases.

i do not agree with sentiment in that blog. However, tattoos made all those pictures worse.

Honestly, I think they look awful. I'm not judging the person, but I do not like the tattoos and I think they make them look really bad, especially when they cover the majority of your skin.

Fuck this guy! Pretentious prick! Anywhoo, if you get tattoed for the right reasons with the right mindset, you end up like this. No regrets.

I'm tattooed by the way and being tattooed was a plan from the time I was realized my dad didn't look like other dads (he had mostly full sleeves in the early 80's. Biker.) I was 4 or 5 at the time.

i would never not date or Fuck someone because of a tattoo, but i don't like them and would never get one myself.

I always look at the people either full sleeves, chests neck etc and think "how will you look when you're 80".

When I'm 80, being alive, with food and shelter, will be my priority, not how my arms look.

I'll also not look like every other bland old man.

This is false. Since tattoos are so popular now, you will look like every other old man who was pressured by society to get inked because he thought it would make him "unique" lol. The guys who have no tattoo will be the ones that stand out, not the norm.

I was referring more to sleeves. Also there was no societal pressure or over riding thoughts of uniqueness in the decision making process before any of my tattoos.

I like the scar better.

Well shit, I bet she'd completely rue her decision if she knew you thought the scar looked better.

Maybe you should prioritise being happy for someone that ink possibly helped them overcome the esteem/trauma issues that can be associated with surreal (or any kind of) scaring over judging them on how attracted they are to you?

how do I slip unnoticed out of a gloryhole booth?

Maybe you should socialize more. The 10 point scale is the alpha and omega of interpersonal relations.

Pressured by society to get a tattoo? Exactly which society are we talking about here?

These threads are fucking great, the very definition of a no win scenario.

I'm on the "tattoos look fucking stupid on all but a small subset of really beautiful people" side of the fence.

That is the problem with tattoo defense force, they post all these gorgeous teen and twenty something models with sleeves and say "lookie, lookie, they look sooooo hot"!

Problem is they are hot with or without.

How come nobody posts the overweight 40 something mom with sleeves and tells us how hot she is because of her tattoos? God knows they are everywhere, but nobody posts them.

Before the defense force tars and feathers me, I really don't give a shit about tattoos, I prefer people without them, but I support their right to get them and have them without being fucking judged.

It's just a preference thing, like blondes or brunettes ya know?

You seem to understand the preference thing so why don't you understand that some people actually think tattoos can make a hot person hotter? The same way a hot blonde or brunette will still be hot regardless of the color of their hair, but maybe your preference makes them hotter with a certain color. It applies the same way.

I don't think (well, I hope) most people here are upset with people who just say "I don't like them". That's personal preference. I just don't like it when people start making judgments or assumptions about people because of them. That includes the "but when you get old..." reason.

I also think that "tattoo defense force" isn't entirely comprised of people who use hotness as a justification. People get tattoos for lots of reasons: personal meaning, social commentary, superficiality, "I just like it", etc. I don't think one is really more valid than the other.

I agree with you about the judgement part absolutely. Nobody should be denied a job or treated differently, etc simply because of some ink, that shit is ridiculous.

Like I said, for me personally it's a preference thing. Regardless of the persons personal reasons for getting tattoos, I don't like the look of them on men or women.

For example, I prefer brunettes but I don't look at blondes as somehow less than human. It's just a preference, it doesn't need to be any more complicated than that.

Edit: I should also add that tattoos for me are not some kind of deal breaker. My girlfriend of over eight years has tattoos. Would I rather she not have them, probably. Do I ultimately give a shit in the end, nope.

I don't like tattoos on guys or girls, just not appealing at all. I don't think any less of people who get them, but they're not for me.

Well done tattoos on girls look sexy to me. This is all down to personal taste though so who gives a shit if someone likes your tattoo or not so long as you're cool with it.

sometimes, overall no, 99.9999% of the time they'd look far better without them. I'm a hater though, I've always hated tattoos and found them terribly ugly.

Nah, I don't like tattoos on girls. I can't stand them at all. I especially hate the one girls have just above their backside.

I love bare skin. I don't want it ruined by someone drawing something on it. lol

Some look good. I hate those ones that fat chicks get on their chests though.

Dammit, his blog has been set to private. I really wanted to read that pile of poppycock.

As for tattooed girls.. Tattoos, piercings, hair dyed in crazy colours.. I love it. Give it to me baby.
