In a surprise revelation by Sony Computer Entertainment Japan, it was confirmed that Atari is currently working on a brand new Alone in the Dark sequel for the PlayStation 3. Though specific details aren't known at this time, the fact that it's coming at all is another solid announcement for would-be PlayStation 3 owners looking for their fun fix later next year.

The last AITD I played was on the PC. 12 years ago. We'll see if this game manages to rekindle my interest in the series.

Sony has nothing else to hype than 2007 multiplatform games ? the lack of information on games supposed to launch with the console is a bit disapointing. Well, maybe they'll launch with X360 ports only.

the DC game was pretty good if not EXTREMELY cheesy

honestly, the DC game and the original on the PC where the only AITD games I've ever played...and I'm pretty sure I only played a demo of the PC original
