Is there a specific time (PST) during the day/night that we can usually expect deals like this to go live?
Last week I showed up about six hours after it had "gone live" and the order page kept going down. I kept checking back over a couple of days and it kept going down as I was about to checkout, apparently I kept showing up right after another batch of codes was gone through or something, many other times it simply showed up as not being available for purchase. My mistake was assuming the deal would definitely still be there after glitches were worked through later on in the week.
I would rather just know for certain around what time I had to set my alarm to wake up so I was around in time for future deals. I don't mean to be another chattering voice slamming you on previous things you couldn't help, it would be really nice to know for the future though, if possible.
Our Deal of the Week starts between midnight-1AM PST every Sunday.
Cheers,
Tony
Within the next several weeks is the impression I get, because they're not the sales we're getting next week. When is KoA and Dark Souls going on sale? I missed that bit of news.
Problem is its just a series of races just like any other racing game. You have to place a certain position in each raceThe run is good only because its ambitious much more than any other nfs game which are just rehashing the same old ideas
The run HAS to be a good enough game for $5... right??
If I already have NFS:Hot Pursuit and haven't even finished that, should I buy NFS:The Run? Does the single-player have an interesting story or something?
The story is a gripping, emotional journal.
MuahahahaUhh...is this for real or sarcasm?
Play it. Totally worth itI just remembered I still haven't even touched Driver San Francisco so that settles my question.
Does prove the point though that The Run isn't worth getting: why bother when you have two better racers to play? Or burned out on the better entry in the series.Play it. Totally worth it
i bought both console ones for $5 each from Best Buy. good enough.

I feel like when you have a backlog, "good enough for $5" is synonymous with "thing that will sit unplayed forever".
do those nfs games activate all on origin?
So many trolls.... are any of the NFS games worth it or not?
Yup. That'd be true.I feel like when you have a backlog, "good enough for $5" is synonymous with "thing that will sit unplayed forever".
We won't be matching that due to upcoming promotional plans...like DA:U+DA2+Mass Effect 1+Mass Effect 2 for $14.99 and KOA + All DLCs for 80% off ($11.99).
Cheers,
Tony
The chances of any of these games beeing redeemable on steam?
I really want Kingdom of Amalur, but I also don't want to install origin.
It's EA they never redeem in Steam...The chances of any of these games beeing redeemable on steam?

Seemingly not, unfortunately. Though at least after the 38 Studios meltdown the "buy from Steam to directly support them" angle is completely dead. And probably would've required CoD numbers directly through Steam to save the company anyway. Will Steam ever have a Kingdom of Amalur sale?

It is odd how the game is still for sale there. I guess the state gets the funds and so doesn't get it pulled, but has zero interest in actually participating in a game sale. Or it's just too messy, whereas with non-Steam it's EA and so they can set the sales.Probably not. The game was self-published on Steam by 38 Studios, and 38 Studios no longer exists.
Any upcoming sale on Skyrim+DLC? Maybe for the 1 year anniversary?

They don't sell Skyrim digitally.
Anyone want to split the BioShock pack with me? I only need BioShock 2.
