Well, got the order ce for 20 bucks and a vita for 150. Always wanted one so i can trophy hunt while im away from home. I will make good use of it. Alot of complaints on amazon saying the bl2 codes are expired though. Better not be the case. Whats the point of buying an advertised bundle with a game that is plastered all over the box if you can't actually redeem the game. Miss the days of physical games being packaged.

you should be fine, I checked my vita bl 2 bundle and it says it expires 5/6/16

The code expired on March 31 2015. That's why I pulled the trigger days before when it was $170 at Best and I had a 10% coupon so it was $153.

I've seen people say they renewed it after the date though.

Sony actually introduced a new Sku that was just the Vita 2000 last holiday but it was the same price, $200, as the Borderlands bundle. I made a thread about it. Seems they had hoped to sell the bundle by last holiday.

Was really hoping for a Playstation Plus discount ;_; Should I keep holding out and hoping Walmart/Best Buy have a deal on them? Just got a PS4 and it's killing me not being able to play Bloodborne online

I apologize it wasn't meant to be venomous towards the poster himself, but I came off pretty shitty.

Far Cry 4 was utterly broken on PC when it released. Stutters, pop-in, crashes. Typical Ubisoft PC release.

How does this compare to Sennheiser RS120?

I need some new headphones.

Don't know much about the RS120, but that is still a pretty good deal on the X1. Only real cons at that price range for those headphones is a slightly recessed midrange and some might find the bass too much.

Very good soundstage with a slightly V shaped sound signature, which would be awesome for gaming. V shaped as in, sightly forward bass and treble, with recessed mids.

EDIT: Keep in mind though that the X2 is out and was an improvement in almost every way. They were on sale today for $230, but amazon had a regular sale on them for $250 a few months back. Another headphone to look at in that $170 price range is the Sennheiser HD598. In my opinion a lot more balanced sound signature compared to the X1, while still being more "lively" than a purely analytical headphone. Note: that these both are open designed headphones, so sound will leak in, and out.

Wait list function is broken... I never got notified to order the item.... but happened to refresh the page and on the lightning deal there was a count down timer...

I think he's referring to the really bad stutters that game launched with. If it is fixed, Ill probably bite on the PC download price.

I didn't know about it, and I assume the guy didn't as well when asking what the issues were. Mineshaft just seems like a prick with that response.

Not sure about those phones, but if people had to pick between the Sennheiser HD598 and the Fidelio X1, a lot would prefer the X1s more. The HD598 and X1 are pretty much at the same price range too.

I'm not too sure about that. I'd say about equal in their respective categories. Very different sounding headphones, just depends on what your looking for.

I wouldn't say so. The HD598s sound overpriced for what they are coming from a HD555, and I say this as someone with a ASUS Xonar Essence STX soundcard and a Matrix M-Stage amplifier to drive either phone. Plus, the HD598 doesn't provide nearly the same combination of bass and airiness compared to the X1s, and open headphones in general having good bass is the exception than the norm. Since they are the same price range, I just don't see the reason to own a HD598 over the X1. This doesn't include the fact the stock cable for the HD598 is an awful 2.5mm male to 6.3mm cable, and the adapter is way too bulky for aux input.

I went with the X1s because they look cooler..lol.

GAF got me to purchase a pressure cooker and now the Philips Fidelio X1/28. I need to stop reading these Amazon threads.

I have no idea if these were part of the deals or not, but I bought a PSTV and Persona 4 Golden. P4:G is the only Vita game I ever want to play, so for 60 bucks it seems like a pretty good deal.

Highlight of the day for me was the New 3DS XL for 196 and the bonus Prime Day extra was a wall charger. That's the ultimate Nintendo + Amazon FUCK YOU to the consumers.
