Yeah, depends on the item and where it's coming from. I'm in Chicago and there's one about 3 hours from me but this is coming from Texas.
I got the Soccer Ball and Cones I ordered YESTERDAY....TODAY. Just got a notification it was delivered to my "garage".
I didn't even pay for 1 day shipping.

That PS4 bundle that had The Witcher 3 included worked out really well for me.
I was planning on just selling The Witcher 3 since I already have it on PC but.. Amazon apparently counted the PS4 and the game as separate orders so I'm able to just return The Witcher 3 and get refunded $50 for it, woohoo.

I mounted the 50 inch 4K Samsung TV yesterday. Picture quality is amazing. Cannot wait to try PS4 on it.
Ended up canceling a knife I ordered as it was $5-10 more than it was during black friday last year. So I basically ended up with Jerky.
