April 2022's free games will be The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion – Game of the Year Edition Deluxe, Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville, Monkey Island 2 Special Edition: LeChuck's Revenge, Nanotale – Typing Chronicles, Guild of Ascension, Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion, Galaxy of Pen and Paper, and House of 1,000 Doors: Family Secrets.

Stop right there!

Oblivion is legit great but I own it on like 5 other platforms.

Don't think I ever redeemed anything on Prime in all the years I have it, except maybe a Magic Arena code that I got through Twitch Prime (which I also have never used).

What service are they attached to? It seems to vary each month
Plants Vs Zombies will 100% be an Origin key. Oblivion will probably be GOG(?)

Rest will be Amazon's launcher

*source = my best educated guess aka my ass

Oblivion came out in 1422, so it's turning 600 this year

I'm going to make a wild prediction and say that Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion will be an Epic games store unlock.

Turnip Boy is a great example of someone creating a meme and forgetting to put a game underneath. Absolute shit design from the ground up, and one of the buggiest games I've ever played considering how short and basic it is. Played on Switch and it has so many bugs and stuttering problems that should not exist for a game that looks like it could run easily on the SNES. Definitely doesn't deserve the 95% it has on Steam.

Damn can't wait to add and never touch like epic.

I wonder when the big boys will catch up a lot of people never play all that shit

Yeah it's great, but it's also 16 years old now.
This makes me sad... 16 years ago, jeesh. Getting old. I was 27 when tes4 came out, shit.

I remember when the game first came out on PC. I took screenshots of deer in the woods and mountains and printed them on my then new photo printer with glossy paper. People actually thought they were real. It was an amazing game back then. The lead up to it was something else too. I remember looking at magazine screenshots (remember those, print mags) and looking at skeletons and the lighting along with the bump mapping. All of it was new at the time.

I tried playing it recently, even added 20gb of mods and texture packs... yeah its not the same. You can't go back.

16 years ago I had a job at a video rental store (remember those 😉) and was playing shadow of the colossus on PS2 on one of the TV's we had in store and someone came up to ask what movie that was, cause they wanted to watch it.

Good times.

And people say Amazon is Microsoft's "REAL" competitor!

To be fair, it's just a crappy monthy and not all the offer:

Prime gives PC games like Battlefield, Alien Isolation, Total Warhammer, Shadow of the Tombraider and you can keep them forever.

Plus, they started to let you play for free rotating games like Devil May Cry 5 on Luna. (no hardware required, just a potato and a controller)

Reminder: Netlix only has crappy mobile games and Game pass doesn't have movies, deliveries, music etc like prime.

The sheer amount of content is pretty impressive to be honest.
