It cracks me up with he brings the political chick to see that weird-ass porno movie and they come out and shes all freaked out.

He's like the original gaffer.

I saw this at one of the local cinema chains, they show a different classic / cult movie every month.

Even better on the big screen.

Yep, it's the turning point of the film. And indeed hilarious.

I need to get around to watching this.

I seriously wish this was just done more often with classic films to raise awareness of the original titles rather than poo-pooing up a legacy with god awful remakes.

Holy shit, so fucking down for this. I guess since Sony has been working on the print that this means there's a bluray release coming soon.

This makes me very happy :)

How can you be a fan of cinema and never watched Taxi Driver?

I just discovered my love for movies less than a year ago. You can't see every classic movie within three weeks of deciding that you love movies. I have seen Taxi Driver though, and it's one of my favorites.

Am I a horrible person for thinking the movie in question was this?

Never seen... but I want too.

Could someone help me buy tickets on the site? I found the theater, and I search the date, but I can't seem to find where I buy tickets at.

Yeah you're right. Everyone grew up in the same household.

Last time I checked it's available for streaming over Netflix, so yeah...

Also, tickets purchased, can't wait to see this on the big screen.

Never understood the appeal of the movie. The last 20 minutes or so were awesome. The rest was so...empty. Boring. Nothing happens.

Plenty happens, it just isn't big explosions or gun fights.

Believe the hype.

Looking forward to seeing it again on the big screen, I love it when they re-release old classics, they should do it more.

Some people find well written, well executed movies with a great story and great performances appealing.

Anyone else catch it on AMCHD this past weekend? They showed it like three times in a row and I watched it those three times. This movie never gets old.
