We're so excited about the coming CES in January – it will be quieter than usual with a big virtual presence, but we could not be more thrilled than with the next generation of products. We can't reveal too much now, but Antony, stay tuned. We are not letting the foot off the gas paddle. We're full speed ahead.

No that is not probable. It is a given.

RDNA3 is what excites me though. But i assume that will be a computex.

Yea same here can't wait on RDNA3, however i don't think we will see those in the first 2 quarters however.

It wont happen in many years as long as there is covid and shortages.

I am happy to buy a highend gpu regardless. I have no problem spending on tech.
A man can dream can't he?

I am looking to get a 5850x or 6800x whatever the AM4 3D V-cache chip will be called.

Maybe if I am quick I'll be able to pre-order a gpu. ETH 2.0 can't come quick enough.

Poor Volta..

That's always their plan.

Video of someone with a shovel building new production facilities?
I expect zero actual silicon in my hands in 2022.
What they need is dirt. Dirt in shovels.

What makes me more excited about this is that I won't be pressed to buy it at launch. I can chill with my 5800x and wait for more demanding games before I upgrade.

Unless you have a 3090 overclocked and are playing sub 1440p, how are you CPU bound?

There is literally nothing AMD/NVIDIA/INTEL could do to excite me unless there is ample inventory at MSRP. If not, fuck off.

Are they even going to say anything about RDNA3? All I've heard is they'll announce Zen3D launch details and will give us a few architectural details about Zen 4.

Well I have 3080 playing at 120+ frames on most games. My monitor only goes up to 144hz at 1440p so unless there's a game that my 3080 can't run...then there's no rush to buy the newest thing. That's all im sayin.

Micron announced yesterday that the chip shortage will end middle of 2022, so not too far off. I'd assume inventory should be up to the task late next year.

How can they be totally sure? Unless all this is planned and executed by the same people

Not sure why people are worried about getting next years gpus at msrp, wont be a problem but the msrp is gonna bring tears to your eyes.
