As I understand it they opened fire on a gunman near the hq that they had raided and then called in air support and blasted a good deal of buildings. Like everyone has seen that scene in Predator yes when they destroy the jungle.

Drone strikes tend to be a single group that has been watched. Might be the wrong group but it's usually more surgical than a team shooting at everything that moves because they just got shot.

So this strike was against a relative of Anwar al-Awlaki, the man who was wrongfully assassinated by Obama? The man whose son, Abdulrahman was labeled "collateral damage" after he was killed in a drone strike? And now THIS strike might have killed the 8-year-old daughter of Anwar Awlaki as well?

As someone who served overseas under both the Bush and Obama administrations, this is nothing new. I detest Trump and everything he stands for but let's not pretend that he's inventing counter-terrorism operations here. This is the status quo.
