The Super Bowl is over! American Dad to premiere very soon!

Will this debut be as poorly recieved by the masses as Family Guy's was?

Crack open a couple of pawtucket patriots, and sit back for what could be a great thing in the making.

Well since many here have already seen a little bit of the American Dad episode, I guess I could say it's average. Beats the hell out of the Simpson episode airing tonight, I'm sure.

Tivo was pushing American Dad pretty hard, but I'm guessing those who actually set it up to record is not gonna end up seeing it. Has premiering a new show after the super bowl ever worked for anything?

The Mario bit was the first thing on the simpsons to make me laugh in like 2 or 3 years.

American Dad was good, had more than several 'laugh out loud' moments that the Simpsons has failed to deliver for years.

Haters can eat shit and die.

is it just me or does the kitchen and the house look a lot like the one on family guy. the shot of the front of the house loooked close to fg's only in a mirror..... the kitchen looks like fg's but with an island

A few mildly amusing parts, but nothing even close to an actually funny joke - I honestly haven't so much as smiled yet. Pretty meh, and it's almost over. The first eps of most comedies underwhelm, but even the first eps of Futurama made me laugh once or twice.

No no no! The talking dog didn't have a british accent. Stewie had the british accent. See? These shows are NOTHING ALIKE!



Btw, I would have thought most of you all would be loving this show. It sure does make fun of republicans a lot.

The staged mugging scene was pretty good. :lol As was the phone conversation with God.

'sides that, I'm not really impressed. I think it has some potential though, I hope Fox gives it a chance so Seth can find his groove for it.

The mugging scene was brilliant. Other than that, a few laughs, but I'd say it's on par with a slightly below average FG episode (considering it's new and we're not used to its characters yet).

:lol Not the best show, but still pretty funny. Better than the Simpsons at least, and that's just the pilot.

And better than Tom Goes to the Mayor:p
