That would have been amazing.Am I the only one who thought that right after Kathy Bates shut that door and the camera zoomed out to the front of the walkway, that the music that started playing was going to turn in Michael Jackson's Thriller after the the first few beats?
I'm a little iffy on the acid attack. It seems incredibly mundane for a show about witches... like the best thing these practitioners of the darkest arts could come up with is the same bullshit fucking coward tactic you see on the streets in London and shit? Just kind of dumb for me... still crazy tho.. eye gore hits a nerve...
As someone who grew up with that kinda stuff around, I gotta say this is the best mythological representation of voodoo I've yet seen in a show or movie.
the words, the curses/spells, the" veve" designs, the ceremonies, feel right, pretty reminiscent.
Also zombie Evan Peters is so hot.
They released a feature on studying voodoo before the series started. Said they wanted to make it more authentic rather than the hollywood version. There is a link in the op and it's a really interesting watch
If the Minotaur is still blinking that means the immortality stuff isn't just an ageless potion then? Like you literally cannot die?
He wrote that he cut off his own tongue.
"Oh my god we are witches we killed all those boys but we're so sorry please don't get us in trouble!!!??"
"Oh my god I miss this boy i met for one night so bad... i want to bring him back soooo bad! Lets make a fucking FRANKENSTEIN monster out of him. Surely nothing bad will come of this!!"
"Oh Shit! His wounds are ... like almost totally healed! Still can't talk or think or stand on his own but.. ya know what? FUCK IT! Droppin you off at your moms K? I got fucking Social Studies at 1."
"Oh snap the crazy monster I created is fuckin out of his gord and killed his mom! I KNOW! I'll feed him rat poison! Surely that will work on a magically summoned FLESH BEAST... woops left the door unlocked. Party Foul."
Just kill this dumb fuck already.

I don't get why they're at war so suddenly. It doesn't really make sense to me at all.
If they ever did a spinoff I'd love a salem witch trials type of show. They could have Tibuta as a slave/voodoo witch. Have a few white witches of varying ages and the town goes crazy trying to figure out who the witches are meanwhile tibuta and the white witches also have a feud. So, we're all in favour of Frances Conroy/Myrtle heading the spinoff, right?
She was good for the first episode. She shouldve been the one raped in the first episode which kills the guys which freak the others out and she gets burnt at the stake instead of Misty or Madison dying.HAHAHA LMFAO
seriously, everything with her so far has been pretty stupid. She better shape up, or i hope there is a Directors cut that removes her completely from the show, because she hasn't added anything at this point except for a few good lines from Fiona directed at her dumb ass.
Fiona dug up Kathy Bates then set her shop on fire
Then voodoo queen sent the minotaur after Bates which ended up fucking up Queenie so Fiona went HAM against it and sent it's head back to her.
That and the fact Fiona has only just come back after being absent for like ten years and she clearly isn't one for peace talks
I just find her arc boring. The police blurt scene wasn't nearly as bad as her dropping Kyle off at his mom's. She dropped off a ticking time bomb back to his unsuspecting mother. After her dealing with a number of times where she almost got caught for witchcraft and she's aware of the danger she still makes dumb choices. Maybe if she was with someone to talk to so we knew what she was thinking it'd be different.Don't get all the Zoe hate. The scene where she blurted out all that shit to the police or whatever was pretty stupid, but other than that she's ok. Also, they can't kill her off when she's the next supreme ;]

anyone else thought that cordelia's husband was going to impregnate the redhead with a demon baby? like it finally worked, but on the wrong girl.
too bad he killed her.
Ratsky you've got your names all mixed up lmao. The person you keep calling Fiona is Cordelia. Fiona is Jessica Lange.
Cordelia - Fiona is Jessica Lange's character.
Cordelia and Joan haven't even met yet.
"Madison Montgomery is a stone-cold bitch who loves hard drinking, big dicks, and trouble."
If shes dead, its probably because she got wasted and offered the grim reaper a hand job or something.
Please send help. I'm dying.
In case there is any doubt.....
I mean I think she'll come around and be much better in later episodes. It just feels like everyone elses plot is going really fast while hers is going slow.I agree that the Zoe stuff is the weakest thread of the season so far, but I don't really resent its existence since it's taken up so little time. She was there for like one minute this episode.
I think the other problem is you have so many strong empowered women(and actresses) on the show with a lot of different plotlines tangled together meanwhile you have Zoe who is a weaker more introverted character in a slow moving arc which has yet to really connect with anything else going on in the show. It will I'm sure ramp up and tie into everything but so far yoy have 4-5 really strong characters all connected in a way meanwhile this character is weaker and is disconnected from the rest of the show.Same. I think her hanging out with Madison for some misadventures might have had some potential, but they went full retard with the Frankenkyle story line and then bumped off Madison. So now she's just dumb and has no real point in the show....well, except I guess she'll be the hunter of frankenkyle for awhile. Thankfully this episode really ramped up the other storylines.

I know. I've missed them.Speaking of Evan Peters, I'm surprised there has been no MAN ASS shot this season yet. I remember them being fairly frequent last season.
What is Murphy thinking!?

Christian guy next door should be getting naked sometime soon I'd imagine. Was he in the house when the zombies came? Can't quite remember
Next episode definitely needs more Misty.
I hope she's the next supreme.
I really don't understand why Madison or Zoe didn't even mention the fact that Misty is alive and living in the woods to either Cordelia or Fiona.

Madison has no clue that she's alive and if Zoe reveals she is she's gonna get questioned about everything and I assume Frankenkyle is supposed to be a secret.I really don't understand why Madison or Zoe didn't even mention the fact that Misty is alive and living in the woods to either Cordelia or Fiona.

Episode 5 synopsis:
1832: Madame LaLaurie’s daughters can’t bear much more of their terrifying mother… and make the mistake of saying so within earshot.
Today: Fiona is devastated when Cordelia suffers a crippling attack, and, at the hospital, breaks down with guilt over all the love she never gave her daughter – a guilt she manifests in unnerving ways. At the Academy, the girls, LaLaurie, Spalding and Luke find themselves besieged by Marie Laveau’s zombie army… and LaLaurie finds herself confronted by old ghosts. Luke is trapped outside, and Nan tends to him while others attempt to barricade themselves in an upstairs room. As Queenie and LaLaurie find themselves unexpected allies, Zoe turns the tide of the advancing zombie horde when she suddenly unleashes a new power. Back at the hospital, Hank comes to see Cordelia, only to be faced with Fiona’s fury… and things may never be the same between him and Cordelia, who has been changed in more ways than one. The next day, the Council, led by Myrtle, return to demand that Fiona step down as the Supreme of her Coven and turn over control to the Council until such time as the new Supreme manifests. Fiona’s struggle with Myrtle to retain control of the Coven involves many secrets – some of them Myrtle’s, some of them Fiona’s… and another member of the Coven finds herself with a disturbing new secret of her own. But the results of this power struggle may not be as clear-cut as they seem, as another witch makes a return appearance.
"I hope so," Britton told Rolling Stone when asked about possibly coming back to the anthology series, which is currently shooting Season 3 in New Orleans. "I've actually have been talking to them this season, because they're down in New Orleans and I'm in Nashville. I said, 'Okay, let's see if we can try to figure this out.'"
American Horror Story: Coven, airing Wednesdays at 10/9c on FX, is about a group of witches at a school that trains other witches. Britton, who was nominated for an Emmy for her role on AHS, says she would be happy to ditch her cowboy hat for a witch hat. "I'm like, 'I'll put that on and jump on a plane and go to New Orleans,'" Britton said. "Yes, I would do that. As long as we can figure it out with both productions, I'm in. I hope it happens."
My god this show is amazing. I'm far more engrossed in this season than either 1 or 2, and originally I thought a season about witches might turn me off.
