Lee was pretty good. The bagpipe guy was kinda distracting but Lee's smirk and response to Simon shut him down haha

Honestly, she's really not that messed up. She really is the most selfless and caring person I've ever met. For what she's gone through, she's surprisingly well adjusted. If anything, she's just 8x more mature than most people. I think she's really just excited to do whatever she wants now, because in highschool, she was forced to dress normally. Our drama director was really influential, and he wouldn't let her "be weird" I guess is the best way to put it.

One time in particular when she was a freshman, she wore something kind of goofy to school, I don't think there was a reason other then she just felt like it. Mr. Sullivan lost his shit though, he took her aside and threatened to remove her from the club if he saw her wear something like that ever again. He was a guy all about image, and he could get away with whatever the fuck he wanted because he raked in over $100,000 per show and was ex-disney etc, and since she was usually the lead roles in his play he felt that what she did reflected on him. It was a dick move. I honestly don't think he would have gone through with it, but Siobhan wasn't willing to risk it. She just took it and moved on.

She's gone through a lot though. Her parents are such fuck ups. They can't hold a job and they just sit around and drink all day, leaving Siobhan to look after her sisters. In that article that got posted, it said she left college because of the parties, that's bullshit. She left because she couldn't leave her fuck up parents to watch after her little sisters, and she had to go back to playing Mom again. She's literally sacrificed everything for them, and this is her shot to give them the life they deserve. I don't think who she is really comes through in this show though, but I can guarantee you she isn't fake or just trying to be different for the sake of it. There's a reason the first word that came out of the other contestants mouths tonight was "amazing".

She might look a little boring when she talks, but she's just a slow and deliberate speaker, and she's kind of quiet. I'm writing this epic post so that none of you get the wrong idea about her. I hope some of it makes sense a bit more. I know some of you don't like her vocals, and obviously that's fine and you're clearly entitled to totally not like her voice, but I don't want any confusion on who she is as a person. She's a great kid, and I really want to see her go far in this competition.

Oh, she totally dumped me first. I had the chance to take her back and didn't, so the jokes on me in that regard. It wouldn't have worked out anyway though, I respect her goofiness, but sometimes it's just too much.

Also, I thought she did great tonight. It was a beautiful performance.

What? Andrew did the most bizarre fucking cover of a beatles song I've ever heard. Siobahn sang like she was trying really hard not to break glass. Lee was just awkward as hell, and really flat.

But the trainwreck of the night had to be Crystal. She butchered the fuck out of that song. Like, took a hatchet and murdered it. I don't care how good you can sing, she should be booted off the show for pulling that shit.

At least she didn't scream this week. I think it was a nice change of pace for her, since she'd been falling into a similar pattern for the past couple of weeks, and not doing very well at it.

Diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks. I wouldn't describe Crystal's performance the way Son of Godzilla did, but I didn't like it at all. I thought it was boring and forgettable. It doesn't help that Come Together is probably my third most hated Beatles song (behind Run For Your Life and Elanor Rigby).
 
Aaron - Boring as usual. What's with the Yoda stuff? They had no explanation for it really.
Katie - Very good. :lol at the dancing.
Mike - Good. I guess. Don't really like him. I'm hoping he sucks soon.
Tim - I think it was his best. His smile and his hair still bug me.
Andrew - Disappointing. What is up with his hair. It looks huge!
Casey - Weird vibrating effect in his voice, but I really liked it.
Crystal - Very good. Made a relatively boring song sound awesome. I couldn't hear the didgeridoo though.
Siobahn - Horrible. She looks cute though.
Lee Dewyze - I liked it. Best looking guy on the show too.
 
OK, best to worst for me:

Casey: A heartfelt, touching performance. I thought he was fantastic. Great song choice, vocals & guitar. I loved the simplicity of it, and the emotion. A great interpretation of an amazing song.

Siobhan: Like Casey, another emotional performance. She has such a beautiful voice in the lower register. So glad she didn't scream. Redeemed herself from last week's disaster.

Crystal: The only problem I had was that her guitar was distracting her. She kept looking down at the end of each line & away from the mic, making he voice drop off. It's something she needs to work on, or maybe she can just ask for a headset mic. Still, a solid & consistent performance.

<big drop in quality occurs>

Katie: Surprisingly good, she was mostly on-pitch. She looks much older than she is. Her best performance in a long time (though I thought it was still pretty mediocre).

Michael: Not horrible, but it was corny.

Tim: Amazingly enough, Tim was actually pretty good (for Tim) tonight. Definitely his best performance yet. Perfect song choice and he sang it fairly well. He's almost certainly going to be safe for another week.

Lee: When the judges watch the performance back they're going to hear what we did. It was a pitchy mess. Lee's worst performance. On the positive side, he didn't seem nearly as nervous as he had. But maybe that hurt him, maybe he does better when he's feeling pressure. Who knows. At any rate it wasn't good.

Aaron: Yawn, wake me when it's over.

Andrew: Drowned out by the band, a weird arrangement and poor vocals.

I think this is Andrew's night to go. Lee probably won't be in the bottom three, he's got a lot of fans. It'll probably be Tim, Aaron and Andrew.
 
did he just say adam lambert theme next week? WTF is that. or Glam Rock?

EDIT: Why does Jason look like he's constipated? and "Sings" like he's constipated as well.

EDIT: no wonder. he's lip synching it.

EDIT: Rihanna's song is terrible.
Rihanna using a guitar was almost as bad as big mike using a guitar during one of his performance :lol.
 
Any desire I've ever had of catching a Rhianna concert just went right out the door.

My problem with the save is that it will likely never be used on someone who has a good chance of winning. At least this makes more sense than saving Matt last year.
 
I don't like Mike very much but he sang that song pretty well again.

Wonder if the producers put Tim in the safe group to mess with the voters.
 
I needed two things confirmed: whether or not Aaron and Andrew could be in the bottom 3. That's going to make things a whole lot easier when trying to make a prediction for next week. Andrew was looking invincible and I couldn't decide whether he could make the bottom 3.

With Aaron, I needed to see whether or not his fanbase could make it without casual voters. It can't, apparently.

Tim picked up a lot of casual votes by not sucking. One forgettable performance and he is outta here. Guaranteed.
