Bottom 3
Katie - She won't be voted off.. but she just will land there because her voice may be too common now?
Didi - Due to judges blasting
Tim - Cause he is always on the bottom

Voted off
Didi (Though I wish it was Tim.. God please let it be Tim)

BAM BITCHES!

I nailed everything.

Huh. Tim was way worse that Didi and that is saying something.

I think Tim has the Kris Allen demographic keeping him afloat at this point.

The only person who looked more surprised that Tim survived than Tim himself was Tim's family and friends! :lol :lol :lol

This guy is going to become this year's Sanjaya if he's not careful.

Siobahn has made it far enough for a joke character, but there are still so many wonk ass contestants left to get rid of so I guess she is staying. Really wish Lilly Scott made it in as token oddball instead of her.

Also really ready for Casey to go home. Hiding behind his axe every week gets soooo friggin old.

Tim and Aaron are top 5 by default unless AI starts screwing with the votes.

Go Timmy! I've never voted for anyone on this show, but I'm voting for Timmy Teflon next week. Between the wheels-off judging, the horrible contestants, and Seacrest being douchier than ever, the show deserves a long time with Timmy.

Speaking of Seacrest, I wanted to reach through the TV and throttle him on Tuesday night. "Didi, why are you emotional right now? Didi, tell us why you like that song. Didi, come on, you know what I'm looking for. CRY BITCH CRY FOR THE CAMERAS." Didi was too good for that shit, so I'm glad she's off the show. I hope the exposure does her some good.

I really hate Kara with the white-hot passion of a thousand burning suns. I hope Tim makes it another six weeks just to make her head explode.

Doesn't it seem like Seacrest is attempting to make the show "his show" now that Simon is on the way out? He seems much more aggresive in exerting his personality in between songs. Maybe that's just at the producers urging, because they know once Simon is gone this show is going to shit.

I get that impression too. Right now I watch the singing, zip to Simon's comments, then zip to the next song, etc. Next season will suck terribly.

Here's hoping X-Factor has Simon, Paula, and a guest judge every week, AND THAT'S ALL. Four is too much. Especially when three of the four are complete wastes of space.

I fully expect the US version to have 4 judges, since the British version does as well.

I've been watching youtube videos of past seasons because this one is so dull. I just don't get what so horribly wrong in hollywood to produce such a crappy group.

What the ?

Randy and Kara are highly qualified judges. They have strong music backgrounds.

Ellen not so much but she thinks like we all do and its good to get a normal opinion for once. Likewise she adds good humor.

Paula dances.. use to sing.. but hasnt done much since.. she was the least qualified.

Yeah, but the way they express their opinions sucks. Randy just throws out the same lines over and over again to the point where when he talks it's just white noise anymore. And Kara, don't know what it is, but she comes across to me as so freaking phony...and stuck up too. And she contradicts herself often, which sometimes Simon likes to point out.

I will say I was surprised by Ellen, she's taking it more seriously than I thought she would and has been more critical than I thought she would be, so that's good. Her delivery isn't the best, but not bad.

Watched Crystal's latest performance on youtube...really good.

Let's face it, she's the only one worth the time, I'm not wasting two hours watching the other talentless dipshits. This is such an awful, awful season.

Lee was actually better this week. I think Top 2 will be Lee vs Crystal with Crystal winning it all.

Both have really unique voices cuz Lee has that rock type voice but its not shit like Nickelback.. its got like a twist. Crystal is just damn unique.

This is the worst part of the competition every year. It becomes pretty evident who the top 4-5 singers are and getting there is just a painful exercise of watching/waiting.

I guess the only drama is if Siobahn continues to spiral out. It's possible.

Siobahn was excruciating this week. Her "screaming" got annoying after the first time she did it.

I'm not entirely sure he's not worse at singing than Sanjaya.

I personally would say Casey isn't even that great at guitar; typical blues pentatonic wanking when he does play, and his use of the guitar is far, far worse than say, David Cook, who was technically inferior at the instrument; but he always used it the right way.

The Andrew Garcia studio version of Forever on iTunes is bizarre, they put a dance beat behind it so now it sounds a lot more like the original Chris Brown track than the unplugged version he did on the show.

They do that all the time. They don't like having to record new arrangements because that takes time and they can't just use a generic backing.

No way Tim lasts until top 5. he's been riding the seal most of his time here.

I expect the eliminations to go down like this:

9. Andrew
8. Tim
7. Siobhan (judges save)
7.2 Katie and Casey
5. Michael
4. Siobhan
3. Aaron
2. Lee
1.Crystal

I don't think they want Tim around for Idol Gives Back

Aaron top 3? No way..

Haha..

Michael or Siobhan top 3 maybe.. Or maybe Casey.

Aaron just doenst have the chops.

Lee/Crystal in the top 2. I'd actually like to see Lee win this one, but I wouldn't mind if Crystal won, either - she's by far the best female singer this season (just like Lee blows the other guys away). I don't know who'd be 3rd place, though... Aaron, maybe? Or maybe Casey, or even Big Mike. They're all talented dudes, anyway, but Mike's my personal favourite of those 3.

Sooooo...

1-Lee
2-Crystal
3-Mike
4-I don't care

Regarding this week's performances... Siobhan was AWFUL. Seriously. I dunno why she wasn't voted off... Didi, while generic/plain/boring as hell, at least stayed on key during the performance. Siobhan, on the other hand... THE SHRIEKING, THE SHRIEKING... I had no problem with Tim except that he doesn't really stand out, he's sort of like this guy who can sing but isn't a very memorable singer at all. Katie... I dunno, but I disagree with the judges' constant advice of BE MORE MODERN DAWG YOU GOTTA SING SONGS THAT SUIT YOUR AGE... except that they're right if she only wants to sell millions of records without some sort of artistic integrity, oh well...

Aaron was middle-of-the-road for me, this week. Just like Tim, didn't stand out very much, but I think he has a better voice than Mr. Creepy-Smile-with-a-Stare.

Lee, Crystal and Mike were excellent, some of their best performances of the season. Casey has a nice voice but I'm getting tired of his shtick... I don't know, dude's talented but seems very generic to me, like he doesn't actually feel the song he's singing. And finally, Andrew Garcia, who went from being one of my early favourites to "just" a good singer made a GOOD choice this week for a change. Solid performance but nothing mindblowing.

Anyway, I bet you Gaffers don't really care about some junior member's opinion but oh well... :lol

I'm hoping for a Lee/Crystal final, that's the only way this season survives with any credibility at all.
I completely agree, otherwise this has been a horrible season and one of the worse in quite some time.

I have a feeling that Crystal will be this year's shocking boot around top four or five week. I picture her and either Teflon Tim or Kim-Jong-Il Garcia in the bottom two, with her leaving.

Oddly enough, in what was supposed to be a big year for the girls, I bet Garcia and Lee Dewyze are the top two vote getters at this point. You can get an idea of their relative popularity by how many people review their singles on iTunes. Crystal has a little over 300 ratings on her track, while Lee has 490 and Andrew has 560.

It would be a disservice to whatever small integrity that this show actually has if Crystal is not in the top 2.
Brace yourself. On some messageboard out there someone is posting this exact sentence about Tim Urban.

Speaking of whom, I never vote for this show, but Timmy is getting all my votes tonight regardless of how he performs. I can't stand Kara, and her insulting Tim last week (I don't know if he understands words) was completely out of line. Hopefully he'll stay a few more weeks just to make her head explode.

So I'm confused, are they actually doing a Beatles night? Or are they just doing Paul McCartney and John Lennon solo stuff?
Should be anything written by Lennon/McCartney so yes, most Beatles stuff would be included.

I don't think she's that great.

She's also disgusting. You gotta figure if someone doesn't take the time to brush there teeth once in awhile, what do you think the state of her cooter is?

If Crystal gets the boot over Teflon Tim I am going to smash my TV with a baseball bat and send the bill to Fox TV.

They still have that ridiculous "save" gimmick.

EW.com confirms that lambert will be the mentor next week. I wonder what the theme will be.

How to become "The Chosen One" and then fail to meet any of the expectations.

Should be fun.

Guaranteed highest rated show of the year so far?

Actually think Lambert probably has a lot to offer this season's selection of potted plants. There is no standard that only megastar music industry peeps should mentor. As someone who has been through the grind and know what works and what does not within the context of the show he probably will have far better advice than most other mentors have in the past.

And not sure why people think he is failing...his debut album has sold very well for the current music climate. Its very difficult to package male pop artists that have come to fame from talent shows and the like. They are sort of held to a different standard than women (no streetcred YO). From the producers perspective a female winner even of lesser quality is going to be a bigger goldmine in the shortrun.

And for anyone bashing lambert who was a kris guy last year (ahem mimic)...how have those sales gone? I'm just saying sales do not necessarily equate to quality (I do like kris as well).
