If Honduras does not win tomorrow the US will have a huge goal differential advantage over both Honduras and Panama meaning a draw in the final US game should guarantee 3rd.
And since there was no draw today Costa Rica still needs a point. It is always nice to watch your team get it done early and sit back and watch all the other games.

Yup. Mathematically, there's still a chance to leapfrog Costa Rica if they lose and we win. The US is 3 points behind on the table and is 2 behind on GD. If Panama and Honduras do us a solid there's a chance.

It's good that we played to our potential. Just finished watching the game replay.
We should've dominated this team and did.
However, it doesn't mask a few things:
- Gonzales and Besler looked bad. Yedlin of all people was bailing them out. They looked slow and unsteady.
- Arriola played well but should've passed on two occasions which irked me.
- Bradley gave the ball away way too much.
- Wood was up and down. His goal was nice and he had a lot of nice runs But...dang...he missed too many chances a striker shouldn't.
But overall, the game was great. Pulisic, Altidore, Yedlin, etc were really good.

There's reports Arena is looking at Tyler Adams for a call up after qualifying is done. Just picturing a midfield with him and Pulisic at the same time is enough to get me excited. Put him next to Bradley in a 3-5-2 and it'll go a long way towards helping fix the team's defensive issues.
And we sat Veron immediately after he had the best game we've ever seen from him.
Can't complain too much though, the MILF Hunter is back and scoring goals.

All hell is breaking loose in Costa Rica now. Honduras is up 1 with 15 to play.
Looks like the US needs to take care of business on Tuesday. And we all need to root for Mexico.

With a 1-1 final against Honduras, Costa Rica are through with Mexico.
US is at T&T.
Mexico is at Honduras.
Costa Rica is at Panama.
US is 2 pts up on the 4th and 5th place teams. A draw at T&T and US is a near GD lock for 3rd. A win and they are also 3rd obviously. If they lose they can only be eliminated if both Honduras and Panama win.
Panama can be 3rd if the US loses and they win. If they match whatever Honduras does on points they will finish above them. So a win and they have at least 4th.
Honduras can qualify if they win and the US loses and Panama does not win. If only one of those latter results happen they are 4th. They can also make 4th with a draw if Panama loses. Otherwise they are toast.
Basically the US, Panama, and Honduras will all be playing for the win. Barring some freaky 8-0 or 10-3 score lines (or possibly more) US does also have the luxury of settling for a draw late.
